Legend of Zelda Tears of the Kingdom Sinakawak Shrine – An Uplifting Device is one of the shrines located in the Central Hyrule region that is proving to be quite a head-scratcher.
Similar to what we’ve seen in the Ishodag Shrine and Susuyai Shrine, all the puzzles within the Sinakawak Shrine require using one of the Zonai devices.
This Zonai device rises when filled with hot air, and it’s simply called Balloon. The hotter the air, the quicker it rises.
Hence, follow this in-depth guide if you want to learn where to find the Sinakawak Shrine, how to solve all the puzzles within, and grab all the treasure chests along the way in The Legend of Zelda ToTK.
Where To Find The Tears Of The Kingdom Sinakawak Shrine
Sinakawak Shrine can be found near New Serrene Stable in the Central Hyrule region. It is southeast of Lindor’s Brow Skyview Tower and northeast of Lookout Landing.
Check the image below for the exact location.
To reach this location from the Lookout Landing, you must go past the Ishodag Shrine, cross the Carok Bridge with the giant Hinox, and follow the path up.
Let’s see how to solve all the puzzles within Sinakawak Shrine in The Legend of Zelda Tears of the Kingdom.
How To Complete The Legend Of Zelda Sinakawak Shrine Puzzle
After entering the Sinakawak Shrine and climbing the stairs, you’ll find a few balloons, some torches that look like giant candles, and a few wooden boards in different sizes.
Using the Ultrahand Ability, grab a board of four wooden planks and place it near the illuminated wall.
Attach one of the lit torches (candles) to the middle of this wooden board.
Now, grab one of the Balloons and attach it above the torch (candle) while standing on the board, as shown in the image below.
Doing so will start to gain altitude and reach the next section of the Sinakawak Shrine Puzzle.
After you jump off the board, you’ll notice a locked gate that can only be opened through the glowing orange pressure switch above it.
The solution to this puzzle is to grab and place a torch (candle) in front of the gate, right underneath the pressure switch, then attach one of the balloons on top of the torch.
By doing so, the Balloon will start floating and pressing the switch, allowing you to go through the gate.
Moving into the final part of the Sinakawak Shrine Puzzle, climb down the ladder or glide down using the Paraglider.
On the bottom floor of this massive room, there are two spheres: a small one surrounded by torches and a big one surrounded by Flame Emitters.
The goal is to bring both of them to the top and insert them into the correct holes in the ground in front of the gates.
The small sphere opens the gate to the green altar, while the bigger sphere opens the gate to a treasure chest.
Let’s start to solve this puzzle by grabbing the wooden board and placing it in front of the alcove near the small sphere.
Now, grab the bigger sphere and attach it to the middle of the board, then grab the smaller sphere and attach it on top of the bigger one, as shown in the image below.
After that, attach three torches (candles) to the sides of the wooden board. Check the image below for visual reference.
Finally, as we did in the previous puzzle sections, grab the three balloons around the area and attach them to the torches.
As the platform with the spheres starts gaining altitude, enter the nearby hole in the wall and use the Ascend Ability to emerge on top.
Wait for the platform with the spheres to reach the top and quickly grab them by the wooden board.
Pull it on your side and wiggle the (RS) left and right to unstick them. Grab the bigger sphere and drop into the large hole on the right to open the gate to the treasure chest containing an Opal.
Then, pick up the smaller sphere and drop it into the other hole to open the gate leading to the altar.
Go through the gate and interact with the green sigil before the altar to complete the Sinakawak Shrine in The Legend of Zelda Tears of the Kingdom.
