Wo Long Fallen Dynasty Dragon Vein Crystals are health upgrades that work hand-in-hand with the Dragon Vein Essences, but unlike the latter, they allow you to increase the number of Dragon’s Cure Pots you can carry. The Dragon Vein Crystals in Wo Long Fallen Dynasty also count as collectibles because you’ll have to find them alongside all Crystals to unlock the Pots and Potions trophy/achievement on PlayStation and Xbox.
The video game, developed by Team Ninja and published by Koei Tecmo, features 7 Dragon Vein Crystals, found at fixed locations while playing specific Missions (Battlefields). Each Dragon Crystal you find increases the number of Dragon’s Cure Pots you can carry by one. Since there are seven of them and you start your adventure with three Dragon’s Cure Pots, it means that at the end of the game, you should be able to hold a total of 10 Dragon’s Cure Pots.
By finding the Dragon Crystals and the Dragon Vein Essences, which increase the potency of your healing flasks, you’ll be able to increase your character’s resilience while fighting even the most powerful bosses. Because every Wo Long Fallen Dynasty Dragon Crystal collectible is relatively easy to miss, throughout the following guide, we’ll go over the locations of these items in chronological order.
Before moving forward, it is worth mentioning that if by any chance you miss a Dragon Vein Crystal while playing the associated Main Battlefield or Sub Battlefield, it is best to replay the mission instead of progressing the story.
By doing so, you’ll always be prepared for the upcoming bosses. To replay a mission, access any of the Battle Flags available in your area, then choose the Travel option, followed by the mission(s) listed below. Last but not least, after finding a Dragon Vein Crystal, make sure you use it by accessing your inventory.
Dragon Vein Crystal #1 – Two Chivalrous Heroes Main Battlefield
The first Dragon Vein Crystal collectible in Wo Long Fallen Dynasty is found while playing the Two Chivalrous Heroes Main Battlefield, or the second main mission in the game. As you progress through the mission, eventually, you’ll have to defeat a new boss named Zhuyan. This boss is similar to an ape, and you’ll need to deal with him to move forward up the mountain.
The path ahead will lead you to a new NPC named Zhu Xia, the local blacksmith. Make sure you talk to her, then follow the linear path ahead to get to the next village. When you reach the village, search the first large building on the right side (on top of the stairs) to find the Dragon Vein Crystal.
Dragon Vein Crystal #2 – The Demon Fort Of The Yellow Heaven Main Battlefield
The second Dragon Vein Crystal in Wo Long Fallen Dynasty while playing The Demon Fort Of The Yellow Heaven Main Battlefield, or the fourth main mission. To reach the location of the Dragon Vein Crystal, you’ll have to go through most part of the mission until you reach Battle Flag #5 in the Yellow Turban Base.
Behind this Battle Flag, you’ll have to open a large metal gate to enter an area with a large bonfire in the middle and a lot of enemies around, especially patrolling Demonized Officers. Go to the left of this bonfire to enter the large building on the left guarded by a Demonized Officer and find the Dragon Vein Crystal on the couch inside.
Dragon Vein Crystal #3 – Fall Of The Corrupted Eunuch Main Battlefield
The following Dragon Vein Crystal can be found near the end of the Fall Of The Corrupted Eunuch Main Battlefield, just before the fight against Zhang Rang. Defeat the first boss, Baishe, and continue through the mission until you reach Zhang’s manor courtyard with curved bridges and small purple ponds. To the right of the manor, there is a zig-zag bridge with a Wolf and a Soldier nearby. Defeat them both and grab the Dragon Vein Crystal off the ground next to the tree.
Dragon Vein Crystal #4 – Centuries Of Glory Burned Away Main Battlefield
The fourth Dragon Vein Crystal in Wo Long Fallen Dynasty can be found during Centuries Of Glory Burned Away Main Battlefield. To find the Dragon Vein Crystal, you’ll have to make your way through the city of Luoyang until you reach the maze area of wooden structures with the lightning-summoning dragon.
Then, find the exit of the maze leading to the canal. Don’t leave the area; instead, go to the right of the exit, climb the wooden platform in the corner, and kick down the large water pot ahead near a Demonized Fanatic.
After kicking down the water pot, jump on the nearby platforms with a loot orb. These platforms are in front of the exit and form a square shape. They also have a ladder in the middle leading down to a Demonized Soldier and the fourth Dragon Vein Crystal.
Dragon Vein Crystal #5 – Tyrant’s Final Banquet Main Battlefield
For the fifth Dragon Vein Crystal in Wo Long Fallen Dynasty, you’ll have to progress the Tyrant’s Final Banquet Main Battlefield until you reach the Battle Flag in the bamboo garden. Then, climb the tall fence on the right and deal with the Assassin, then grab the Entertainer’s Diary Tablet off the ground.
Continue along the fence on the stone pathway and sneak behind the axe-wielding soldier to land a Fatal Strike, then finish him off. Keep following the fence until you reach the corner of the building, then vault over to find the Dragon Vein Crystal below.
Dragon Vein Crystal #6 – The Way Of The Warrior Main Battlefield
The sixth Wo Long Fallen Dynasty Dragon Crystal is found when you play The Way Of The Warrior Main Battlefield, but you’ll have to cross the village to get it. As you follow the main path, you’ll get to fight a gigantic Terracota Soldier. Once you defeat him, you’ll find the collectible inside a chest in the building behind the soldier and the fourth Battle Flag.
Dragon Vein Crystal #7 – Behold The Glaive Of Righteousness Main Battlefield
When you play Behold The Glaive Of Righteousness Main Battlefield, you’ll find another Dragon Vein Crystall close to the end of the mission. After you enter the underground passage, focus on progressing until you get to one last room, where you’ll find a Leishi demon. Without engaging the enemy, hug the left side and go around the room to spot the crystal on a sarcophagus behind the Leishi.
