To finish the Demigod Of The Wind And Sun Quest in Disney Dreamlight Valley, you will need to complete the following objectives:

• Talk to Maui to begin the quest (Friendship Level 7 required and WALL-E unlocked)
• Gather the following items to craft some kites:
  • Softwood (x18)
  • Fiber (x30)
• Bring a Kite to:
  • Goofy
  • Merlin
  • WALL-E
• Follow Maui to the location of the Missing Island
• Talk to Maui
• Fish where the island used to be
• Bring Maui what you’ve found

After you complete the A Tale Of Stone And Fire quest, reach Friendship Level 7 with Maui and bring WALL-E to your Village by completing The Shy Little Robot quest, then return to him to begin the quest.

How To Craft Kites In Demigod Of The Wind And Sun Quest

He will tell you that he wants to craft some kites and give them out to the villagers so they can enjoy the breeze. But, to do that, you will need to gather some additional items: Softwood (x18) and Fiber (x30).

To find Softwood, look around the Plaza and Peaceful Meadow and pick up the branches.

Fiber is a craftable material that can be made at the Crafting Station under the Refined Material tab. So, to craft Fiber (x30), you will need to gather Seaweed (x6).

To find Seaweed, cast your line into the water of the ponds or the ocean, away from the bubbling fishing circles. You will pull either common fish or Seaweed.

To speed things up, you can bring a villager who is specialized in Fishing for a chance to acquire additional Seaweed.

Once you have Seaweed (x6) and Softwood (x18), go to a Crafting Station, select the Refined Material tab, and craft Fiber (x30) first. Then, select the Functional Items tab and craft Kites (x3).

After crafting the Kites (x3), bring them to Maui for inspection. He will compliment your crafting skills and sends you to deliver the Kites to Goofy, Merlin, and WALL-E, as he promised.

Find Goofy, Merlin, and WALL-E around the village and give them a Kite. Once you’re done, go back to Maui and talk to him.

He will thank you for the great job you did and, in exchange, decides to help you find a Missing Island.

Where To Find The Missing Island In Demigod Of The Wind And Sun Quest

Now, follow Maui to the location of the Missing Island and talk to him again. He will encourage you to fish where the island used to be to find some clues.

Cast your line at the orange bubbling fishing spot near the wrecked ship and pull the Limestone out of the water.
