God of War Ragnarok Lyngbakr Island is a hidden region you will encounter while exploring the Bay of Bounty area in the Svartalfheim realm.

However, the first time you get there, you probably won’t be able to see much of the island or find any of its collectibles.

But the God of War Ragnarok Lyngbakr Island contains five different collectibles, which are as follows:

  • 1 Legendary Chest
  • 1 Lore
  • 1 Artifact
  • 1 Odin’s Raven
  • 1 The Weight of Chains

So, in the following guide, we will explain how to unlock the hidden area of the island and where to find all GoW Ragnarok Lyngbakr Island collectibles.

How To Unlock Lyngbakr Island Collectibles Area In God Of War Ragnarok

To unlock the hidden area of Lyngbakr Island, you’ll need to start and progress the Weight of Chains Favor we’ve covered in-depth here.

When you get to Lyngbakr Island, which is located in the central part of the Bay of Bounty in Svartalfheim, The Weight of Chains Favor will start automatically.

Then, find a way to get to the chest behind the gate near the dock to open it and receive the Watchtower Key item.

Visit The Watchtower region, which is to the west of the Radsvinn’s Rig, and open the gate using the Watchtower Key. While you’re there, be sure to pick up all collectibles at The Watchtower.

Then, interact with the drum to gain access to the full extent of Lyngbakr Island.

Lore Marker (Regarding the Removal of Resources): On A Stone Tablet

After reaching Lyngbakr Island, climb the chain and deal with the enemies around.

Now, throw your Leviathan Axe at the fire vessel near the locked gate to clear the path of gold ore, cut the binding, then destroy the lock using your axe to free the left fin.

Continue on the new path that appears, deal with the enemies around and climb the golden chain.

Immediately on the left, you’ll find the God of War Ragnarok Lyngbakr Island Lore Marker written with blue glyphs on the stone tablet.

Artifact (We Who Remain, Part the Second – Kvasir’s Poems Set): Next To A Corpse

After interacting with the previous Lore marker, turn around and climb the wall in front of you.

Jump over the gap to find the God of War Ragnarok Lyngbakr Island Artefact glowing purple next to a corpse.

Odin’s Raven: After A Narrow Tunnel

Return to the stone tablet, swing on the other side using the grappling point, and keep going until you reach another chain that leads down to the second binding.

After cutting the binding and freeing the right fin, destroy the nest that appears, then use the firebombs from the vessel to clear the path and the dock below (look to the east) of gold ore. We will need the dock to reach the final part of the island.

Now, lift the gate on the left, grab another explosive bomb, and keep following the path to the right until you reach the chain that leads to the stone tablet again.

Throw the firebomb on the left to clear the path, using the grappling point to swing on the other side and crawl through the narrow tunnel on the right.

God Of War Ragnarok Lyngbakr Island Odin's Raven Path

Turn left at the end of the tunnel to find the God of War Ragnarok Lyngbakr Island Odin’s Raven. Throw your Leviathan Axe to kill it and progress The Eyes of Odin Favor.

Legendary Chest (Rönd of Aggravation): Next To The Lyngbakr’s Tail

From the previous Odin’s Raven, return to the boat and go around the creature to the dock you cleared earlier.

Climb the wall to the top and deal with the enemies around, then cut the last binding and slide down the rope.

Immediately after landing on the other side, the God of War Ragnarok Lyngbakr Island will be right in front of you.

Open the Legendary Chest to receive Rönd of Aggravation, a Shield Attachment, then break the lock on the chain to free the tail.
