Rambler’s Reach Outpost is the hub area in Star Wars Jedi Survivor and a location where Cal gets to spend a lot of time during his adventure, mainly because after each Chapter, he must return to Koboh Planet.

As a hub area, Star Wars Jedi Survivor Rambler’s Reach Outpost features many collectibles, including seven Treasures, six Datbank Entries, and ten Seed Pods, to name just a few.

Out of 37 collectibles you must find in Rambler’s Reach Outpost, ten are Chests containing various customization items.

Like other collectibles, several Chests can’t be approached early in the game since they require specific abilities such as Dash. However, after you finish the story, you’ll be able to free-roam and return to Rambler’s Reach Outpost whenever you want.

Assuming you wish to get your hands on all Chests in the Rambler’s Outpost area of Star Wars Jedi Survivor, throughout the following guide, we’ll tell you where to look for them because even if you obtain the Chests Map Upgrade, some of these collectibles are locked behind puzzles you must solve.

The map below marks the locations of all Rambler’s Outpost Chests you must find in the hub area of the video game developed by Respawn Entertainment, and as you can see, there are several collectibles hidden inside buildings.

The doors of these buildings are locked, and to open them, you must solve a series of puzzles or complete side activities such as rumors.

Luckily our Rambler’s Reach Outpost Chests locations guide provides all the information you need to get to these collectibles. So, following the same order as the one on the map above, here is where to find the ten Chests in Rambler’s Reach Outpost.

Chest #1 (Duelist Jacket): In The House Behind Gulu And Gido

The first Chest on the map above is in a side room of a locked house. In front of the door, you’ll meet two NPCs named Gulu and Gido. While these two NPCs won’t open the house for you, there is a third one you’ll have to find.

His name is T-1N8, and he is a droid held hostage inside the Phon’Qi Caverns. So, to get to the Chest, you must find Phon’Qi Caverns first. If you need help reaching it, refer to our Chests Map Upgrade location guide here because, in the same area, you’ll also find the upgrade required to display all Chests on your Holomap.

After you enter Phon’Qi Caverns, you’ll see T-1N8 in the first room, and he’ll ask you to deal with the Bedlam Raiders. After defeating the three bosses in the caverns, you’ll have to talk to him again, and he’ll relocate to Rambler’s Reach Outpost, in front of the house where the Chest is found.

Talk to him one last time, and he’ll open the door for you, thus granting access to the first Chest in our guide.

Chest #2 (Unique Metal BD-1 Material): Inside The Stables

For the second Chest on our map above, you’ll need to learn how to tame mounts and the Force Lift/Slam ability.

The Rambler’s Reach Outpost Stables Chest is obtained with the help of a mount by riding it behind the stable, then double-jumping to reach the upper window. From there, pull yourself up; then Fore Lift the trapdoor on the left side.

Drop to the area below and collect the Chest, but be advised that there are also two Treasure Collectibles waiting for you inside the stable. One of them (Stables Secret Treasure) is probably the trickiest collectible in Star Wars Jedi Survivor.

Chest #3 (Rebel Paint BD-1 Material): Behind The Garden Tower

The third Star Wars Jedi Survivor Rambler’s Outpost Chest is more accessible and can be found on the plateau behind the large tower near Pili’s garden.

To unlock the garden, you must progress the story, get to the Blustery Mesa area on Jedha, and recruit Pili (as explained here).

Then you’ll be able to get to the roof of Pyloon’s Saloon and climb the vines on the tower. From the roof, drop to the lower plateau and Force Lift and Smash the crate pictured below.

Chest #4 (Bomber Pants): Under The Mantis Landing Pad

From the previous location, head to the Mantis Landing Pad but instead of following the ramp toward the Mantis, check the area below.

You should be able to see several gates you can Force Lift. Behind the second one on the left side, you’ll find the fourth Chest collectible on our map above.

Chest #5 (Edgehawk Pommel): In A Cave On The Upper Plateau

For the fifth Star Wars Jedi Survivor Chest on our Rambler’s Reach Outpost map above, you’ll want to head back to the tower on top of Pyloon’s Saloon, where you should also find one of the two Force Tears.

On the plateau in the distance, you should see a cave (pictured below), and in front of it, another crate you can Force Lift and Smash. Several steps behind the Chest is one of the six Databank Scans.

To get to the plateau, jump from the roof and use the Dash ability.

Chest #6 (Arakyd Heavy Barrel): On A Plateau Near Hunter’s Quarry Border

The sixth Chest is also found on top of a plateau, but it’s easier to reach because all you have to do is to use the grapple point under some wall vines.

Climb the vines, and you’ll see the cylinder you can Force Lift and Smash to get the Arakyd Heavy Barrel.

Chest #7 (Tactical Shirt): On Doma’s Shop Roof

Once you secure the previous Chest, remain on the plateau and check the roofs of the buildings in the settlement.

On top of Doma’s Shop, you’ll spot the seventh Chest, which is quite accessible. To get to it, look for the orange building behind the shop and use the crate on the ground to reach the roof. Now, Dash toward the Chest and collect the Tactical Shirt.

Chest #8 (Stim Pack): Inside Doma’s Shop

At the eighth location marked on our map above, you’ll find Doma’s Shop Chest, which is a bit trickier because it requires other collectibles.

The Star Wars Jedi Survivor Doma’s Shop Chest is inside a room you’ll have to open using the Mysterious Keycode you can buy from Doma for 10 Priorite Shards.

The Priorite Shards are Treasures scattered around Koboh. If you wish to get your hands on ten quickly, refer to our Wiki Guides here, which cover all areas in the game. Alternatively, you can opt to find the Treasure Map Upgrade explained in-depth in this guide.

Once you have 10 Shards buy the Mysterious Keycode from Doma and ask BD-1 to Slice the terminal in her shop. Inside the locked room, you’ll find the Chest pictured below.

Chest #9 (Swoop Blaster): Inside A Locked Shop

The ninth Chest on our map allows you to unlock the Star Wars Jedi Survivor Swoop Blaster but to get it; you’ll need to complete a rumor and unlock the Electro Dart for BD-1.

While the Electro Dart is unlocked via story progression, the rumor is a side activity you must complete by visiting the area known as Bygone Settlement.

The Bygone Settlement is a Jawa territory, and your objective is to get to the top of the structure where the Jawas are being attacked by Bedlam Raiders. After you save them, they’ll move to Rambler’s Reach Outpost, in the house near the one you want to access.

While standing outside, check the corner of the building for a fuse you can activate with the Electro Dart. Aim at it, and the door should open.

Keep in mind that without the Jawa, the said fuse is covered by panels and that the cable on the roof must be connected to the panel of the house.

If you head to the roof of the building with the Chest and move the cable to the panel of the Jawa House, you’ll be able to get inside another building where you’ll find one of the Essences.

Chest #10 (Seed Pods Map Upgrade): On The Roof Of Pyloon’s Saloon

The last Chest in Rambler’s Reach Outpost area of SW Jedi Survivor is not a Chest per se, but a terminal you’ll have to Slice.

The terminal in question unlocks the Seed Pods Map Upgrade we already explained. To access it, you must grow your garden by planting the Seed Pods you collect in Pili’s garden on top of Pyloon’s Saloon.
