Legend Of Zelda Tears Of The Kingdom Great Sky Island Stone Korok is one of the NPCs who need Link’s help, and you’ll most likely meet him early in the game while working on reaching the In-Isa Shrine.
The Great Sky Island Stone Korok got separated from his friend, and your objective is to help the cute Construct get to the other side of a large gap.
You can easily find this specific Great Sky Island Korok on your way toward the second shrine you must solve while working on The Closed Door main quest because the Construct sits on top of a rock above the Great Sky Island Lake you’ll have to cross.
If you manage to help him, the Korok will reward you with not one but two Korok Seeds, which are very valuable, as you may remember from The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.
So, to help you get your hands on the said Korok Seeds, in the following guide, we’ll tell you how to help the Korok glued on the stone reach his friend.
Where To Find The Great Sky Island Korok On The Stone
The Korok NPC you are looking for is found on a small plateau north of the In-Isa Shrine and the Great Sky Island Lake.
His exact coordinates are 0018, -1262, 1418, as you can see on the following Great Sky Island map.
Upon reaching this location, look around, and you’ll see a small Construct.
If you talk to him, you’ll find out that he got separated from his friend and that he can’t move, which means that the Korok is attached to the stone. Or glued if you like.
The Stone Korok will also show you where his friend is, specifically on the other side of the gap in the distance. You should be able to see some smoke from the Korok’s friend camp.
Now, your goal is to help the little fellow get to the camp.
How To Help The Great Sky Island Stone Korok Reach His Friend
To help the Great Sky Island Korok stuck in the stone, it is mandatory to complete the Ukouh Shrine and unlock the Ultrahand ability. Otherwise, you won’t be able to build the contraption required to cross the gap.
Or put, if you rush through the game and reach this area earlier, you won’t be able to help the Stone Korok.
Thus, focus on the Ukouh Shrine we’ve explained in-depth here, then return to the Korok.
Now, using the Ultrahand ability, look around the stone where the Korok is found to spot some tree logs. If you can’t find any, feel free to cut some of the trees. Check our Zelda Tears Of The Kingdom Woodcutting guide here if you need help understanding how to cut trees.
After you have three logs, use the Ultrahand ability and glue them together to obtain a board. Next, look for a metal hook near the stone where the Korok is waiting. Using the Ultrahand ability, attach the hook to the board you created.
You should be able to obtain a hanging cart like the one pictured below.
After you build the hanging cart, head to the stone and, using the Ultrahand ability, pull up the stuck Korok, transport him to the hanging cart, and attach him to it.
This way, the Korok won’t fall during the next ride.
Finally, use the Ultrahand ability again to hang the cart on the railing nearby, making sure that the hook is on the rail.
The moment you release the hanging cart, jump on it, and it will take you to the other side of the gap. Now, you’ll want to use Link’s Ultrahand ability again to unstuck the Korok from the board and transport him to the nearby camp.
Release the Korok (press B) near his friend to complete this cute mini-quest. Last, but not least, speak to the Korok you just saved, and he’ll reward Link with 2 Korok Seeds you’ll get to use later.
Now that you know how to help the Zelda Tears Of The Kingdom Stone Korok on Great Sky Island, get ready for the next puzzle, which requires you to cross the Great Sky Island lake.
