September 12, 2022

After WALL-E joins your Disney Dreamlight Valley Village, he is still shy and hesitant to get out of his shell.

So, during the It’s Good To Be Home quest, you decide to help by introducing him to a neighbor, picking up some flowers, and feeding an animal around the Village.

Therefore, throughout this guide, we will explain everything you need to do to complete the It’s Good To Be Home quest in Disney Dreamlight Valley.

How To Complete Disney Dreamlight Valley It’s Good To Be Home Quest

All of the steps for completing each part of the It’s Good To Be Home quest in Disney Dreamlight Valley are as follows:

  • Talk to WALL-E to start the quest
  • Introduce WALL-E to a friendly neighbor by talking to Goofy
  • Listen as Goofy and WALL-E talk to each other
  • Pick different Flowers with WALL-E (x3)
  • Feed an animal around the Village any food they like
  • Return to WALL-E

After you complete The Shy Little Robot quest by helping WALL-E in his realm and bringing him into your Village, find WALL-e and talk to him to begin the quest.

When you talk to him, he is curious about the Village, but he’s still shy and hesitant to meet his new neighbors.

To help him out, find Goofy around the Village and introduce him to WALL-E.

Wait for them to talk to each other (1 minute), then ask WALL-E what he would like to do next.

He will show excitement at both proposals, picking up flowers or feeding animals, so you decide to do them both.

You shouldn’t struggle to find flowers around the Village, because there are plenty of them in different shapes and colors.

How To Feed An Animal In It’s Good To Be Home Quest

Now, the tricky part is to feed an animal around the Village with the food they like.

In the early part of the game, without unlocking new biomes, you will come across two animal species: Rabbits and Squirrels. After you unlock Dazzle Beach, you will discover the tiny Sea Turtle.

So, to complete the task, you can feed any of these three animals with their favorite food.

In the table below, you can learn about each animal’s location and favorite food.

To feed a Squirrel, just get close to it and press the interaction button on your controller or keyboard when the text “Approach” is prompted above its head. Then, select Apple in your inventory to feed them.

Rabbits are a bit harder to feed because you will need to chase them down a couple of times until they finally settle down and allow you to interact with them. Then, choose the Carrot in your inventory to feed them.

Also, the Sea Turtle is a critter that will hide inside its shell when you get close to it. Wait for a few seconds near it, and he will soon pop his little head out of his shell, allowing you to approach and feed it.

And that’s it! Congratulations on completing the It’s Good To Be Home quest in the video game developed by Gameloft.

Have Something To Add? Do It Here:

  1. Thanks for the help… so I approached a squirrel, gave it an apple 3 times, and it’s still not registering that I fed the animal on my quest?

  2. I had the same issue with the squirrel so i just tracked the bunny down. It took 3 approaches until he stopped and wanted food. That registered the feeding. It almost seems like you have to feed a new animal, not one that I had fed before.

  3. It’s annoying if we have to feed an animal we haven’t fed before because I fed both squirrels and both rabbits to make them my companion. Disney should fix this. It’s not fair if you don’t know not to befriend all the animals immediately.
