Lobsters are rare Disney Dreamlight Valley Cooking Ingredients you can get through fishing, as you probably guessed.
However, oddly enough, even though Lobsters are categorized as Seafood, they can’t be fished from the ocean in the Dazzle Beach area, so you’ll have to go to another Biome.
Besides preparing tasty meals with this type of Seafood, you also have one quest that requires specifically the Lobster Cooking Ingredient in the Early Access Version of the video game developed by Gameloft.
So, you can check our following guide if you don’t know how to get your hands on the crustacean in question.
Where To Find Lobsters In Disney Dreamlight Valley
As I mentioned before, you won’t catch Lobsters by fishing in the Dazzle Beach area; instead, you have to go to the Glade of Trust Biome.
So, the first thing you have to do is unlock the area if you haven’t already.
It will cost you 5000 Dreamlight to remove the large Night Thorns and get access to the swampy area.
If you don’t have enough Dreamlight, you can always get more by completing the tasks listed in the Dreamlight tab of the game’s menu.
Upon unlocking the Glade of Trust area, look for the orange ripples and bubbles in the water because the Lobsters bite in that spot.
If you can’t find any orange ripples, fish in the white and blue ones until an orange one appears.
Also, if you want to get more fish, it’s very important to have a companion with you who is specialized in fishing. The higher your companion is in level, the better rewards you’ll get.
Check our Fishing Guide here if you have any questions on how to fish.
You can also get Lobsters from Moana’s Boat, which you unlock by completing the Fixing The Boat quest covered in this guide.
You have to upgrade the Boat for better chances (using Scrooge’s sign), but even so, the odds are slim, so you’re better off fishing in the Glade of Trust area.
Cooking Recipes Based On Lobsters
Besides the Magic Moments quest (covered in this walkthrough), where the Lobster is a quest item, you can use it as a Cooking Ingredient in a couple of Recipes.
Only one Recipe requires Lobsters exactly; for the others, you can use any Sea Food, including this rare crustacean.
However, Lobsters are Sea Food, so in the following list, you have all the Recipes that can include the Cooking Ingredient in question.
