How To Clear The Sea Debris In The Great Maui Quest
After you’ve answered all of his questions, Maui will take your pickaxe, upgrade it to make it as strong as his hook, and send you to free Moana’s canoe of the sea debris behind it.
Also, this upgrade on your pickaxe is permanent and carries over to your world, which means you will now be able to break the debris around Dazzle Beach.
Equip your pickaxe from the tools menu, head to the back of Moana’s canoe, and break the eight pieces of sea debris that look like blue eggs.
Each piece will break in one swing, so you’ll finish the task in no time.
After you complete the task, return to Maui to finish the quest, which will unlock the How Far You’ll Go quest (covered in depth here), the final one on this island to bring Moana to the valley.
