God Of War Ragnarok Althjof’s Rig Collectibles Locations Guide

God of War Ragnarok Althjof’s Rig is a complex region in the Svartalfheim realm where you must find and destroy the mining rig to progress the In Service Of Asgard Favor.

It can be a bit difficult to navigate Althjof’s Rig region because it’s a multi-layered puzzle that will require you to apply many of the mechanics you’ve learned so far, which can be confusing at first.

Also, God of War Ragnarok Althjof’s Rig contains five collectibles that you want to collect for a 100% completion of the area, as follows:

• 1 Legendary Chest
• 2 Lore
• 1 Odin’s Raven
• 1 Mining Rig

All the Althjof’s Rig collectibles can be obtained during your first visit, so you don’t have to finish the story to collect them.

So, in the following guide, we will explain where to find all God of War Ragnarok Althjof’s Rig collectibles and how to navigate the region.

Odin’s Raven: Under A Structure

After you reach the Althjof’s Rig dock, climb the golden chain and immediately turn left.

You’ll see the God of War Ragnarok Odin’s Raven through a crack minding his own business. Throw the Leviathan Axe to kill the raven and to progress The Eyes Of Odin Favor explained here.

Lore Rune Read (The Squasher): On The Bottom Floor

Turn right from the Odin’s Raven and press Circle to use your Blades of Chaos to pull down an elevator.

Then, using the wheel on the right, lower the grappling point to one level above the bottom. Check the image below for the exact position.

Now, you can step on the elevator and use the Blade of Chaos to swing to the other side.

Then, use your Blade of Chaos by pressing (L2) + (R2) to blow up the explosive barrel and clear the path.

At the end of the next area, climb the wall with your blades, and push the shield on the left edge with white paint to create a shortcut for later. Then, open the gate, drop down and blow up another explosive barrel.

After destroying the red fence, climb the nearby wooden beam and follow the white and red markings to the top.

At the top, press Circle near the edge to smash through the floor and reach the bottom floor.

After smashing through the floor, check the left side of the wall for God of War Ragnarok Althjof’s Rig Lore written with glowing blue letters. Refer to this Lore locations guide for similar collectibles.

Althjof’s Mining Rig: At The Top Of The Site

From the previous Lore, use your Blades of Chaos to raise the elevator back to its initial place, then return to the beginning of the area where you spun the wheel.

Spin the wheel down to raise the grappling point by one floor (level) – one floor below to the very top. Check the image below for the exact position.

After spinning the wheel, climb the wall on the left of the wheel, which is the shortcut you created earlier.

At the top, jump on the platform created by the elevator and use the grappling point to swing to the other side.

Climb up after landing on the other side, and Althjof’s Mining Rig will be in front of you.

Defeat all the enemies, then interact with the God of War Ragnarok Althjof’s Mining Rig to shut it down.

Lore Scroll (Passion): Behind A Breakable Wall

While facing the Mining Rig, turn around and check the left side for two kegs with white and red markings above them.

Press (L2) + (Square) to shoot a green arrow and destroy the kegs. Then, climb around the wall behind the barrels with the markings.

Jump over the gap, drop the golden chain, and slide down to reach back to the wheel, then spin down the wheel to raise the grappling point to the very top.

Climb back the golden chain you previously dropped, use the grappling point to swing over, and press Circle midair to smash through the breakable wall.

You’ll find the God of War Ragnarok Althjof’s Rig Lore Scroll on the floor near the entrance you’ve created.

Legendary Chest (Njörd’s Tempest): Near The Lore Scroll

From the previous Althjof’s Rig Lore Scroll, follow the path on the left to find the God of War Ragnarok Althjof’s Rig Legendary Chest at the end of the area, outside.
