God of War Ragnarok Demise Of The Dagestr is one of the Treasure Maps you can find in Svartalfheim, but only later in the game, after you obtain the Draupnir Spear for Kratos.

The God of War Ragnarok Demise Of The Dagestr Treasure Map requires your presence back to the Applecore, but since you already explored this area early in the game, you’ll need to know how to return to the mines.

Luckily the GoW Ragnarok Demise Of The Dagestr Map is close to the Applecore’s entrance, so if you wonder where to find both the Treasure Map and the Hidden Treasure, we’ll go over both of them in the following guide.

Where To Find The Demise Of The Dagestr Treasure Map

As said to get to the Treasure Map, you need the Draupnir Spear, so you’ll want to progress through the story and complete the Forging Destiny Main Quest.

After you get the Spear, you must return to The Applecore in Svartalfheim, but you’ll need to follow the same path you took when rescuing Tyr.

This means you’ll need to fast-travel to the Aurvangar Wetlands Mystic Gateway, then take the chain ferry to Sverd Sands (where you must complete A Viking Funeral Favour).

While on Sverd Sands, find the elevator to the underground, and follow the linear path ahead.

As you go deeper, pay close attention to the right side, and look for an air stream coming out of the wall. Alternatively, if you wish to obtain 100% completion in The Applecore, refer to our collectibles guide here.

Upon finding the said air stream, aim your Spear and throw it as you see below.

Once you climb on the Spear, on the ground, you’ll see the Demise Of The Dagestr Treasure Map.

As with all other treasures in the video game, you’ll get a small riddle, so open your inventory, navigate to the Goals tab, then pick the Demise Of The Dagestr:

I don’t know if dragons go to Valhalla, Folkvangr, the Lake of Souls or Helheim…but should this one need anything for his journey, I left him a little something. Should he not, well, whoever else wants it can have it. You decide if you want to steal from the scaly beast even if it is dead.

Pick it up, and now you can opt to continue looking for all the remaining Applecore Collectibles or go after the treasure.

Assuming you want to find only the Demise Of The Dagestr Treasure in God of War Ragnarok, head back to the Aurvangar Wetlands Mystic Gateway following the same path you used to get inside the mine. Specifically the ferryboat.

Now you’ll want to travel to Midgard, so select the location and then choose the Lake of Nine Mystic Gateway.

Upon arriving, head towards the lake for several steps, then turn around to spot a rock in the distance (pictured below).

As you can see, the rock is only several steps away from the Lake of Nine Mystic Gateway. Get close to it, throw your Spear, then detonate it by pressing the triangle button on your PlayStation controller.

Behind the rock, you’ll find a path and a dead end. On the ground is an Ormr Loot Lizard, and next to it is the Demise Of The Dagestr Treasure. It is one of the 2 Buried Treasures in Midgard, the other one (Viking’s Gift covered here) being several steps away.

First, kill the Ormr Lizard by throwing your Leviathan Axe at the jar above it. Now loot its remains and finally the hidden treasure.
