Updated November 15, 2022

God of War Ragnarok The Forge is a region in the Svartalfheim realm that you will first visit during The Quest for Tyr Mission, then you’ll return later in the story to unlock the Draupnir Spear.

To achieve a 100% completion rate of the region, you’ll have to find all nine God of War Ragnarok The Forge collectibles as follows:

  • 1 Nornir Chest
  • 1 Legendary Chest
  • 2 Lore
  • 1 Artifact
  • 2 Odin’s Ravens
  • 2 Yggdrasil Rifts

But, when you first visit the region during The Quest for Tyr Mission, you’ll not be able to obtain all the collectibles. Therefore, it is recommended to return when you’ve finished the story.

So, follow this guide to learn where to find all 9 God of War Ragnarok The Forge collectibles in chronological order.

Odin’s Raven: Flying Near The Train Tracks

To return to the Forge after the story, fast travel to the Nidavellir Beach Mystic Gateway in the Svartalfheim realm. Jump over the gap and take the small train up the hill leading to the Forge region.

After the train ride, you can spot the God of War Ragnarok Forge Odin’s Raven flying in circles around the wooden platform.

Position yourself facing his flying direction so you can throw your axe and hit it midair, which will progress The Eyes of Odin Favor.

Artifact (Bari’s Grenade – Things Left Behind Set): Hidden Behind A Crate

From Odin’s Raven, take the first exit on the right off the wooden path, then climb the first wall on the left with white markings.

Immediately on the left, you can spot the God of War Ragnarok Forge Artefact glowing purple hidden behind the wooden crate.

Nornir Chest: Near The Green Heart Drawing

From the previous artefact, climb back up, and after a few steps, you’ll spot a side area with a green heart drawn on a stone.

Climb the small ledge, and the God of War Ragnarok Forge Nornir Chest will be immediately on the right.

To open this Nornir Chest, you’ll have to throw a spear at the three seal totems and detonate them all at once (you’ll have to unlock the Draupnir Spear later in the story).

The first seal totem is to the chest’s left on the rocks in the back. Check the image below for the exact location.

To throw a spear, equip the Draupnir Spear by pressing D-Pad Down, then press (L2) + (R1).

The second seal totem is to the left of the chest, and behind it, on the left side of the mountaintop. We’ve marked the location in the image below.

Yggdrasil Rift: Dreki Boss Arena

After you open the Nornir Chest, squeeze through the hole on the right to reach the area where you defeated the Dreki boss during the story.

The God of War Ragnarok Forge Yggdrasil Rift becomes available later in the game, and you’ll not be able to find it during your first visit.

Interact with the Yggdrasil Rift, defeat the waves of enemies, then interact with the rift once more to close it and receive your reward.

Legendary Chest (Atlas Eruption): After Geyser Puzzle

Now, open the gate, pass by the dwarf camp and follow the path on the right to reach the area with the geysers puzzle.

If you’re here after the story, you’ve probably already picked up this God of War Ragnarok Forge Legendary Chest.

But, if this is your first visit during the Forging Destiny Main Quest, clear the elevator of vines, then climb the nearby wall to reach the geyser on top.

Freeze the geyser using your Leviathan Axe, jump over it and follow the path across the bridge to freeze a second geyser. This way, your companion will reach the crank you can use to close the second geyser.

Now, head back to the elevator and press (Square) to command your companion to cap the geyser and lift the elevator.

Then, climb the wall on the right and command your companion to turn the crank again and lower the elevator.

Freeze the first geyser using your Leviathan Axe, then command your companion to turn the crank and close the geyser, which will open the gate ahead.

Odin’s Raven: Above Brok’s Old Blacksmith Shop

From the Legendary Chest, return to the cable lift and take it up. To call the lift, turn the nearby lever.

At the top, squeeze through the gap in the tunnel and drop down in the area where you helped Brok bring the materials to fix the nearby elevator.

Above Brok’s Blacksmith Shop, you’ll find God of War Ragnarok Forge Odin’s Raven perched on a rock.

Yggdrasil Rift (Lindwyrm + Gale Spark): On Top Of A Rock

From the previous Odin’s Raven, climb the wall on the left of the Brok’s Blacksmith Shop and follow the path until you have to squeeze through a gap.

Then, throw a spear at the wind coming out of the wall on the left and the one above the gap to create a path.

After climbing these two spears, you’ll reach the God of War Ragnarok Forge Yggdrasil Rift.

God Of War Ragnarok The Forge Yggdrasil Rift Location

This Yggdrasil Rift is part of The Lost Lindwyrms Favor and can be closed only after speaking with the Squirrel at Sindri’s House, who will give you a Lindwyrm Trap to pull the wyrm out of the rift. Without the Lindwyrm Trap, you’ll be unable to close the rift.

After obtaining the Lindwyrm Trap and pulling out the Lindwyrm, interact with the Yggdrasil Rift again to count it as completed.

Congratulations on finding all 9 God of War Ragnarok The Forge collectibles. There are more collectibles across all nine realms waiting for you to collect, so check our God of War Ragnarok Wiki Hub if you need help finding them.
