In the Name of Love is a Diablo 4 fetch quest you must finish if you want to achieve 100% completion in the Dry Steppes region.

As such, Diablo 4 In the Name of Love counts as one of the 38 Dry Steppes side-quests, and to complete it, you must retrieve another relic for Rakhaan, the Curio Collector.

You probably know Rakhaan from the A Fiend So Familiar questline, which consists of the following side-quests: Curious Curios, Hunting the Relic Hunter, and More than Meets the Eye.

Now, if you want to finish D4 In the Name of Love side-quest as fast as possible, don’t hesitate to check the walkthrough below.

How To Start In the Name of Love Quest in Diablo 4

Before you can start In the Name of Love, which is a Dry Steppes Secret side-quest, you have a couple of requirements you must meet.

As mentioned, you have to first finish the A Fiend So Familiar questline, but also complete the D4 main story.

Therefore, the quest can only be started in the endgame.

When you get everything done, you can travel to Fate’s Retreat on the west side of the Chambatar Ridge area and talk to Rakhaan, who is the quest giver.

In case you forgot the location of the NPC, you can look over the following map.

Diablo 4 In the Name of Love becomes available after completing the main story and the A Fiend So Familiar questline

Also, as you can see, there is a Waypoint in Fate’s Retreat that you should have unlocked by now and can use to fast travel to the merchant’s camp.

To finally start the quest, ask the Curio Collector if he got any more relics for you to track down, and he will send you to find the cleaver of an Overseer, which should be locked away in the Whispering Vault.

Now let’s see how to get this cleaver exactly.

Where To Find the Cleaver in Diablo 4

First, you must enter the Whispering Vault, which is a dungeon located on the southeast side of the Chambatar Ridge area, as you can see on the D4 map below.

The Whispering Vault dungeon is located on the southeast side of the Chambatar Ridge area

Thus, make your way to the dungeon, preferably using your mount, which you should have unlocked by now.

After entering the Whispering Vault, start exploring and completing the dungeon’s objectives while you’re at it.

However, you must explore every inch of the dungeon and carefully look for a Vault Chest, just like the one in the next screenshot.

Look for a Vault Chest in the Whispering Vault dungeon

Don’t forget that the dungeons, in general, are filled with many dangerous mobs, even Elites, and Whispering Vault makes no exception.

Also, we’re sorry we can’t provide the exact location of the Vault Chest, but it’s random.

Keep in mind, though, that when you get close enough to the chest, a blue marker will appear on your minimap.

Once you find the chest, you need to open it, pick up the Cleaver of Undying Love, and listen to what the spirit that has just spawned has to say.

Now you can complete the dungeon for some sweet loot or abandon it and return to Rakhaan directly.

Anyway, after speaking with the Curio Collector, you conclude Diablo 4 In Name of Love quest and get the following rewards: Gold, XP, Renown points, and a Cache. However, there are plenty more Dry Steppes side-quests you can complete, like Tarnished Amulet.
