The Shattered Tribute quest in Diablo 4 also counts as one of the 35 Fractured Peaks side-quests you can complete while exploring the first region in the latest video game published by Blizzard Entertainment.

Diablo 4 Shattered Tribute requires you to pay tribute to the Bear Tribe with a show of strength, and the best way you do this is by collecting Ice Clan Bones from the Khazra mobs.

To help you find them, our D4 Shattered Tribute walkthrough below explains where to find the Ice Clan Bones and how to pay tribute to the Bear Tribe.

How To Start the Shattered Tribute Quest in Diablo 4

To start the Shattered Tribute quest in Diablo IV, you have to complete the Prologue and then explore the northern part of Fractured Peaks.

In the snowy area, you’ll eventually discover a new settlement named Bear Tribe Refuge. After you activate the Waypoint, you’ll notice that you have two side quests available.

The first is named The Beast’s Challenge, and the second is Shattered Tribute. Alongside Hammer of the Champion, the two side quests are required to unlock the Call of the Ancients.

Diablo 4 Shattered Tribute becomes available in the Bear Tribe Refuge village.

From the Waypoint, head south and look for an NPC named Sena. You may remember her from the Gory Display side-quest.

When you talk to Sena, ask her if you can meet the Chieftain, and she’ll tell you that you must earn your audience by slaying Khazra to obtain their bones. Let’s see where to find them.

Where To Find the Diablo 4 Ice Clan Bones

While you’ll encounter Khazra everywhere in the Seat of the Heavens area of Fractured Peaks, for the Ice Clan Bones, you have to kill the goat-like creatures inside the Hoarfrost Demise dungeon.

As you can see below, the dungeon is found just north of the Bear Tribe Refuge.

To find the Ice Clan Bones, enter the Hoarfrost Demise dungeon.

The icy dungeon known as Hoarfrost Demise is full of Khazra, so you likely won’t encounter any difficulties obtaining 25 Ice Clan Bones.

The drop rate is relatively high, and even though you won’t obtain a Diablo 4 Ice Clan Bone for every Khazra mob you kill, you’ll likely get all of them by the time you reach the second half of the dungeon.

These quest items, as you can see, drop from random enemies.

The Ice Clan Bones drop exclusively from Khazra inside Hoarfrost Demise.

Once you get the 25 Ice Clan Bones, it is recommended to finish the Hoarfrost Demise dungeon and unlock the Blood-bathed Aspect for the Necromancer class.

Exit the dungeon using the icon on your map, and return to Sena in Bear Tribe Refuge village. She’ll be pleased to see your offering and reward you with a Leather Cache. Additionally, you’ll earn XP, Gold, and 20 Fractured Peaks Renown Points.

After finishing the Shattered Tribute quest, consider checking our Diablo 4 Wiki if you need help with other side-quests, and don’t forget about our Fractured Peaks hidden quests locations guide.
