In the captivating game Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown, you will face numerous challenges and puzzles throughout your journey. One of the most intriguing puzzles is The Depths Masks puzzle in the Catacombs. Once you solve this puzzle, you’ll reveal a hidden chest as part of a side quest known as The Architect. It’s worth mentioning that you don’t have to accept the quest to solve this puzzle.

To find The Depths puzzle, teleport to the Catacombs fast-travel point and follow the path east to the solitary room, as shown on the map below.

How To Solve The Depths Masks Puzzle in The Lost Crown

Before attempting to solve The Depths Masks puzzle in PoP: The Lost Crown, you must first obtain the “Shadow of Simurgh” ability. This ability allows you to create shadows and teleport between them, a crucial skill for navigating the Catacombs and solving puzzles.

To unlock the Shadow of Simurgh ability, you must progress through the main storyline of the game until you defeat the Alternate Sargon mini-boss during The Tiger and The Rat main quest.

When you come across the puzzle room, you will see two large orange masks hanging on a cracked wall. To solve the puzzle, you must light up both masks simultaneously to reveal the hidden chest.

To do so, jump in front of the left make and press the corresponding button (- GameClubz/- GameClubz) to create a shadow. Then, quickly perform a “Rush of Simurgh” (press - GameClubz/- GameClubz) towards the other mask on the right to light both of them and solve the puzzle.

Depths Hidden Chest Shockwave Amulet Reward

After solving the Depths Masks Puzzle, you’ll receive the Shockwave Amulet. With this amazing artifact, you can create a shockwave by destroying your Shadow teleport marker.
