Con Mods is the trickiest side mission in the Albion area, putting your jetpack skills to the test in Destroy All Humans 2 Reprobed. The high degree of difficulty is mainly because of the two optional objectives:
- Stay on the high ground
- Keep the high ground
First of all, to unlock the side quest, you must first complete the Rage Of Aquarius Odd Job mission. Then, the Arkvoodle Cult indicator should appear on your map near the northernmost landing zone, as you can see in the following screenshot.
Go to the said location and speak with the fashionable man with purple glasses to start the side quest of Destroy All Humans 2 2022.
How To Use Bodysnatch on Lionel
Your main objective is to convert the Mod Mob gang to Arkvoodle. Start by using bodysnatch on the gang’s leader, Lionel, who is located only a few steps to the east of the quest giver.
So go near Lionel, aim at him, and spam the Y button (Xbox). With your new disguise, return to John, the quest giver, and talk to him.
Where To Find Pox and Talk to Him
To convince the gang to join the Cult of Arkvoodle, you have to bring them some Furon tunes, so you have to consult with Pox on how to find some. You can find Pox near a dumpster, a short distance north of John. Follow the white hexagon if you can’t locate him.
After talking to Pox, you come to the conclusion that a DJ is in possession of some Furon music. So now you have to track down this DJ in the Con Mods side quest.
How To Bend Antennae to Triangulate the DJ
The DJ can be found if you use the antennae to triangulate his signal. The first three antennae are on the roofs of three buildings a little to the south of Pox. Use the white hexagon to locate them more easily.
Once you reach an antenna, bend it by pressing the X button, then repeat the process on the other two, which are close by but on different roofs.
The following step in the Destroy All Humans 2 Reprobed Con Mods mission is to go to the highlighted location south of the eastern bridge in Albion and bend another three antennae.
How To Stay on the High Ground
Now, things are about to get tricky because you have to stay on the high ground as you try to reach the next three antennae. So, use your jetpack to fly from roof to roof to the eastern bridge, but be sure not to touch the ground.
Position yourself on the closest building to the bridge. The building is marked on the map below.
The next three antennae are on the other side of the bridge, meaning you have to find a way to get there without touching the ground, which can be difficult. For this part, it would be best if you had the Launch-A-Tron 5000 upgrade on your DASH to jump even higher.
Now, fly from the roof of the building all the way to the blue steel part of the bridge, then jump from balcony to balcony until you reach the top ledge, as shown in the next image.
Then, go south on the ledge until you reach another blue steel part you can use to get on the other side of the bridge, from where you can fly to the roofs with the antennae you need to bend. These antennae are also marked with white hexagons.
How To Keep the High Ground
There are three more antennae you must bend, and you have to keep the high ground until you reach them. This time, you must position yourself on the closest building to the western bridge. Again, check the map below for the exact location.
Make your way to the building carefully from roof to roof. Once on the said building, fly to the wooden platform in the middle of the bridge, on the left side. Then, fly to the other wooden platform on the other side of the bridge.
The next move is to fly to the scaffolds near the left building. Use the scaffolds and your jetpack to reach the roof of the big building where the last three antennae are located (marked with white hexagons). You’ll encounter quite a few enemies on the roof because you are in a restricted area.
How To Kill the Pirate DJ
After you bend the last antenna, you have the location of the DJ, which is a short distance north of the western bridge. The DJ is marked with a white hexagon, which makes finding him a lot easier.
All that’s left to do is to kill the DJ and collect the music data core, so go for it. I know the optional objectives can be annoying, but you should have no problems after a few tries.
