Establishing Shots is yet another Arkvoodle Cult mission in Destroy All Humans 2 Reprobed you can complete in the Bay City area. If you fully complete the side quest, you’ll get a total of 7 Furotech Cells. To reach 100% completion in the side mission, you also have to complete the optional objective: use explosives to kill cops.
There is a requirement to make the mission appear on your map, and that is to rescue Shama Llama in the Shama Llama Slips Up side quest. Then, all you have to do to start the mission is speak with the quest giver, Shama Llama. He is located near the landing zone in the hippie commune on the west side of Bay City.
So, head to the said location to get things started.
How To Use Explosives To Kill Cops and Defend the Tents
The main objective of the side quest is to protect the members of the Cult of Arkvoodle from a police raid. To do so, you must defend the tents found a short distance to the north of Shama Llama. The tents that need protection have a sign (a white circle with a shield in the middle) above them, as shown in the next image.
You have to stand your ground for 4 minutes and stop the cops from destroying all the tents. But for the optional objective in Establishing Shots, you have to use explosives to kill five cops until the timer runs out.
There are a couple of explosive barrels scattered around. The barrels are marked with white rhombuses, making them easy to find. Pick up the explosive barrels by pressing RB (Xbox) and throw them at the cops.
You can focus on defending the tents after completing the mission’s optional objective in Destroy All Humans 2 Reprobed. Kill the cops as fast as possible because they keep coming in significant numbers. I found it easier to use PK slam on bigger groups of cops to kill them all in one hit.
To use PK slam, aim at a cop, pick him up with RB, press LS + RS, and finally press LT to slam the human into the ground, killing everybody around. Don’t forget to keep an eye on your radar to see where the cops are (they are highlighted in red).
