Destroy All Humans 2 Reprobed Takoshima Story Mission Guide

Takoshima Story is the first mission you can complete in the third area of Destroy All Humans 2 Reprobed. If you complete all the mission’s objectives, including the two optional ones, you’ll get a reward of 12 Furotech Cells, so you can finally get that upgrade you couldn’t afford.

The optional objectives for the first mission in the Takoshiam area of the video game developed by Black Forest Games are:

• Perform a clean snatch on a KGB agent
• Hit gongs with KGB agents

To unlock the Takoshima area, you have to complete On Natalya’s Secret Service, the last main mission in Albion. Only then can you travel to Takoshima and meet with Natalya on the west side of the new area, on the edge of a precipice.

How To Locate the Rendezvous Area

It seems you have to intercept a package in the Takoshima Story mission, but first, you must locate and reach the rendezvous area. So make your way to the city in the northwest, to the highlighted area on your map, and grab a disguise; it doesn’t have to be a specific one.

Just go near a human, aim him, and spam Y (Xbox) to perform a bodysnatch. Then, use Cortex Scan on the people in the highlighted area by pressing the Up arrow on your D-pad to find out where you need to go next.

Repeat the process in the following highlighted area to find out the location of the rendezvous area in the first mission in the Takoshima area of Destroy All Humans 2.

How To Perform a Clean Snatch on a KGB Agent

Approach the rendezvous area from the west to reach the main entrance, where you’ll find 2 KGB guards. The area is highlighted on your map, so finding it will be easy.

You now have to use the Free Love weapon to perform a clean bodysnatch on a KGB agent and complete the first optional objective.

Switch to Free Love with LB, then start a party by getting enough humans with the weapon. You can now use bodysnatch on a KGB agent. To complete the optional objective, you need an agent with a white rhombus sign above his head, like in the screenshot above.

How To Talk to the KGB Courier and Collect the Briefcase

Once you’ve completed the first optional objective in Takoshima Story, enter the rendezvous area and wait for the courier. The NPC you are looking for should shortly come to your area by car. Wait for the courier to get out of the car and start a conversation with him.

It’s important to know what you have to say to the agent, or you’ll fail the mission and will have to restart it. In principle, all you have to do is get along with the courier and agree with everything he says. Just to be sure you don’t make a mistake, here is what you should say:

Then all you have to do is collect the briefcase from the ground, left of the courier. Follow the yellow hexagon if you can’t find the briefcase.

How To Go to the Zen Temple

Now that you have the briefcase, run like the wind to the closest landing zone because the agents will figure out that the courier messed up. Going to the landing zone is not mandatory, but you will reach your next objective a lot faster with the saucer.

Once in the saucer, head to the Zen Temple, located on the east side of the Takoshima area. Land at the landing zone near the temple and find Natalya by following the yellow hexagon.

How To Hit Gongs With KGB Agents

After speaking with Natalya, you need to escape an ambush with her, and you can also complete the second Takoshima Story optional object in Destroy All Humans 2 Reprobed. The requirement for the optional objective is to hit gongs with KGB agents, so pick up a Russian by holding RB, aim a gong, and release the button to throw your victim.

You have to do this five times, and to help you out, note that the gongs are marked with white rhombuses. Don’t kill the KGB agents in any other way until you complete the optional objective. There should be enough gongs and agents on your way to Natalya’s car.

How to Escort Natalya to Her Car and Kill the Ambushers

You can focus on escaping with Natalya after you have dealt with the optional objective. So kill anybody who stands in your way and try to protect Natalya in the process. I suggest using the Zap-O-Matic because the weapon is good for groups of enemies.

Hold LB, select the weapon from the list, and electrocute your enemies to finish the mission.
