Final Fantasy VII Rebirth Expedition Intel 6 Cavern Lifespring Location Guide

Cavern Lifespring is the sixth and final Expedition Intel in the Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth Grasslands area. It is found in the desert area south of Kalm City, quite close to Mako Pipeline Lifespring. Alongside Expedition Intel 5, you’ll need to find and study the Cavern Lifesprin because it unlocks the second Excavation Intel, also known as Pipeline Depository.

Where To Find the FFVII Rebirth Expedition Intel 6 in Grasslands

To find the sixth Grasslands Lifespring, you need to explore the southern side of the desert region. The location of the Cavern Lifespring is shown on the map below. It is south of Mako Pipeline Maintenance Warehouse, where Cloud meets Kyrie during the Lifeline in Peril quest.

To get to the Cavern Lifespring, start from the Mako Pipeline Maintenance Warehouse and ride south, looking for a rather large cave. Because of its size, you can’t miss it; however, if you struggle, make sure you also look for a red bird flying around.

The bird will lead you to the cave’s entrance, slightly northeast of the Lifespring’s icon on your map. Inside the cave, you’ll find the Crystal you are looking for.

To complete the side activity, interact with the Crystal and press the Triangle button on your PS5 controller three times when the two circles on your screen overlap. The moment you find and investigate the Cavern Lifespring, Chadley will call you and mark the location of the second Grasslands Expedition Intel.
