Updated March 1, 2024

As you continue moving east from Kalm City toward Oliver’s Farm in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth Chapter 2, you’ll get the chance to discover another Cache Location known as Grassy Viaduct. This Cache Location features three Treasure Chests you’ll have to find and open to complete the landmark. Here is how to get them.

Where To Find the Grassy Viaduct Cache Location

The Grassy Viaduct Cache Location is in the Grasslands region, east of Kalm, as you can see on the following map. It is only several steps east of another Cache Location known as Thresher Waterwheel. This area is first explored after Cloud and his team escape from Kalm City.

The Grassy Viaduct Cache Location is found east of Kalm City.

Where To Find the Three Grassy Viaduct Treasure Chests

As you approach the location on my map above, consider the game’s verticality and look up to spot a broken viaduct. Unlike other Cache Locations, you’ll need to find three Treasure Chests here. None of them is on the ground, meaning you’ll need to climb the viaduct.

To find the climbing spot while facing Oliver’s Farm (east on your map), make sure that the broken viaduct is on your left side. Keep an eye on the viaduct’s wall to spot several yellow ledges that can help Cloud reach the top of the wall.

To get the chests you must climb the viaduct using the yellow ledges on the wall.

Approach the ledges and start climbing them. Then, when you reach the top, head right to find the first Grassy Viaduct Treasure Chest at the edge of the wall. Inside, you’ll find three potions. After you open it, retrace your steps and check the other side of the upper wall.

The second chest in Grassy Viaduct is near some stairs and contains an emerald. The third one is several steps away, near a broken wall, and inside it, you’ll find three plumes of Phoenix Down.

After you get both Chests, climb down using the same ledges and head to Oliver’s Farm following the story. Once you tame Piko, the first Chocobo, I recommend finding the Jadewind Hill Caches.

All three Grassy Viaduct Chests are found on the top of the wall.
