In the desert area of Grasslands, you can find two FF7 Rebirth Fiend Intel Combat Challenges you must complete for Chadley. The first is Fiend Intel 5, also known as Picky Eater, while the second is Voltaic Canine.
Fiend Intel 5: Picky Eater allows Cloud to test his skills against Aggrevrikons, and in this guide, I’ll tell you how to complete all objectives:
- Pressure an enemy.
- Stagger and enemy.
- Defeat all enemies within the time limit.
Where To Find the FFVII Rebirth Fiend Intel 5 in Grasslands
Let’s start with the location of the Fiend Intel 5 Challenge. As you can notice on the following map, this Combat Assignment is on the southern side of the sandy area, just south of Kalm City. It is northeast of Cavern Lifespring and northwest of Mako Pipeline Lifespring.
Ride to the location I have marked for you, and under a rather large pipe; you should be able to spot a pack of red Aggrevrikons, which look like ostriches. Approach the pack and get ready to complete the first objective.
How to Pressure an Aggrevrikon
As with most creatures you have fought so far, to pressure an Aggrevrikon in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth, you need to know its weaknesses. So start by casting Assess on one of the targets to discover that Aggrevrikons are weak to Fire and Ice-based spells and attacks.
Now cast a fire spell on one of the targets, and the first objective is complete. Alternatively, you can use an Ice spell if you want. The result is the same.
How To Stagger an Enemy
Staggering an Aggrevrikon is also fairly easy now that you know how to pressure these creatures. Therefore, to complete this objective, after you pressure one of the targets, lock on it and continue to attack it. Don’t switch targets, and make sure you avoid the poison these beasts spit.
How to Defeat All Enemies Within the Time Limit
The last objective goes hand-in-hand with the previous two. Additionally, you also have a lot of time to deal with the Aggrevrikons, regardless of the difficulty level.
This means that as long as you keep pressuring and staggering one Aggrevrikon at a time, you’ll surely complete this objective. I have managed to beat it with 1 minute left on the clock.
