Now that we know where to find the common Beast Meat, it’s time to discuss a better version of this ingredient featured in Dragon Ball Z Kakarot, a type of meat known as Select Beast Meat.
Unlike the common Beast Meat, the Select Beast Meat is first required in the video game while playing a Main Story, which is called Fleeting Normality.
This specific mission is part of Android Terror Arrives Episode 8, and like it or not, Chi-Chi will ask you to bring her Select Beast Meat.
Obviously, for cooking reasons.
Along with this type of meat, you will also be asked to bring her some Frozen Rabbit Meat, which is an ingredient quite rare in DBZ Kakarot.
Now, back to our DBZ Kakarot Select Beast Meat and how to get it.
Here are two locations you should try when you play the video game developed by CyberConnect2 for PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.
How To Get Dragon Ball Z Kakarot Select Beast Meat In Blake Bog Lakes
One of the easiest ways to get Select Beast Meat in Dragon Ball Z Kakarot is by completing the Master Sub-Story for Master Roshi; however, since you’ll need more than 3 units (that’s how many you get for that side-quest), you’ll want to travel to Central Plains Area.
Specifically to Blake Bog.
As you can see on the map below, the location you will want to explore is in the southern part of the Central Plains Area, where you will find several lakes. Or a swamp if you want.
When you arrive at this location, you’ll want to find a specific type of Gazelle, which is totally different from the one I’ve shown you in my Beast Meat locations guide, although both of them drop Beast Meat and Select Beast Meat.
Why this type of Gazelle, you ask? Because it has a better drop rate for Select Beast Meat, which means that you’ll spend less time hunting.
In the picture below, you can see that this specific Gazelle has a dark-brown color.
And this is the type of Gazelle you’ll want to hunt. We’ll call this one a Dark-Brown Gazelle because, honestly, I didn’t check this animal’s entry in the Z Encyclopedia.
Keep in mind that this should not be confused with the Desert Gazelle.
Select Beat Meat Farming In Sacred Land Of Korin
The second area or location you should explore to get Select Beast Meat in Dragon Ball Z Kakarot is Sacred Land of Korin. Notice that I am using the same map from the common Beast Meat locations guide. And there is a reason for this.
As I said above, the Select Beast Meat is also dropped by the common Gazelle, but the drop rate is smaller.
This, however, doesn’t mean you won’t be able to get it from them.
Since the area marked below is by far the richest in Gazelles, make sure you scout it, and you’ll find a lot of common Gazelles just south of the lake you see on the following map.
One thing to keep in mind while playing DBZ Kakarot is that all animals (beasts); respawn if you leave an area and then travel back. This makes the Select Beast Meat farming quite easy at the swamp in Blake Bog.
Obviously, there are other locations to explore as well, but these two are my favorite hunting spots.
If you know better locations, drop them in the comments section below, and I’ll add them to this guide.
