The Quarry Chapter 1 collectibles are more complicated than those available in the Prologue we covered here, especially because some of them require specific dialogue choices you’ll have to make while playing Hackett’s Quarry Forever.
Furthermore, the collectibles in The Quarry Chapter 1 are very well hidden, meaning that you can easily miss them if you don’t pay attention to the environment.
While playing the first Chapter of the video game developed by Supermassive Games, you’ll have to find the following:
- 1 Tarot Card
- 1 Evidence
- 5 Clues
Because all of them are required to unlock the corresponding achievements/trophies at the end of the game, throughout the following The Quarry Chapter 1 collectibles locations guide, I’ll tell you everything you need to know about these items and how to get them.
Where To Find The Chapter 1 Hackett’s Quarry Forever Collectibles In The Quarry
Similar to the previous collectibles, it is recommended that you follow this guide alongside our Quarry Chapter 1 walkthrough because there are several points in the game that you don’t want to miss.
In Chapter 1, there are also specific choices you’ll have to make to access areas where these collectibles can be found.
Last but not least, if you follow our walkthrough, you’ll be able to pick some additional items that will help you get other collectibles later in the game.
So, here is where to find all of The Quarry Chapter 1 Clues, the Tarot Card, and the Evidence.
Collectible #1 – Hunting Notice Clue (Camp History Set)
When you start Chapter 1 in The Quarry, you’ll meet two new characters: Jacob and Kaitlyn. After a small dialogue between them, you’ll be able to explore the Camp Lodge as Jacob.
The first batch of Chapter 1 collectibles becomes available in this area.
When you gain control over Jacob, turn right, and in front of the green truck, you’ll see a yellow board.
Approach it because this is the first Chapter 1 clue in The Quarry, and it is part of the Camp History Set.
Collectible #2 – Camp Plaque Clue (Camp History Set)
After you get the previous collectible, ignore the current objective and follow the stairs in front of the large cabin.
The said cabin is on the left side, as you are facing the board in the screenshot above.
Feel free to interact with the front door because it will remain locked.
Now, while on the porch, head left while facing the front door and inspect the plaque on the wall. This is the second Chapter 1 clue collectible.
Collectible #3 – Temperance Tarot Card
The next collectible in Chapter 1, Hackett’s Quarry Forever, is one of The Quarry Tarot Cards and can also be obtained while playing as Jacob.
To get it, you’ll have to enter the lodge, and this is done via the last window on the left side of the porch.
So, from the previous clue, keep following the porch; then, on the right side, you’ll see a window you have to use to get inside the cabin.
Cross the first room, and you’ll enter the cantina. Immediately turn right and enter the next room, which is the kitchen.
As you enter the kitchen, you’ll spot the Temperance Tarot Card.
NOTE: Once you pick up the Chapter 1 Tarot Card collectible feel free to continue the story; however, after you bring the bags to the car as Jacob, make sure you steal the Rotor Arm.
This step is essential because you’ll gain access to a collectible in Chapter 3 (explained in-depth here).
Without the Rotor Arm, you won’t be able to pick it up, so don’t pick the Break Fuel Line choice.
Collectible #4 – Newspaper Headline Scrap Clue (Freakshow Fire Set)
For the next set of Quarry Chapter 1 collectibles, you’ll need to reach the point where you play as Abigail. You’ll meet her after Jacob’s sequence, and to obtain the clue, you need to get inside Cabin 10.
As such, you’ll have to pick Break In when talking to Emma. Eventually, the two girls will open Cabin 10.
NOTE: Once inside Cabin 10, head left before going after the clue while standing near the door to pick up the teddy bear. This is not related to any collectibles, but if you pick it up (and keep it), it will help you unlock The Final Girl achievement/trophy in the game.
So get the bear and pick Keep, then check the left side of the cabin behind the first row of beds to get the next clue.
Collectible #5 – Camp Song Recording Clue (Camp History Set)
With the previous clue in our possession and the teddy bear in the bag, head outside to get the last three Quarry Chapter 1 collectibles.
The first is on the right side as you get to the courtyard. Specifically, it is a radio in front of Cabin 8 (Room 08), near the stairs leading to the door.
Collectible #6 – Information Signpost Clue (Camp History Set)
After you find the previous clue, turn around, and in the center of the courtyard, you’ll be able to spot a signpost.
You can see it marked in my screenshot below, and all you need to do is to investigate it.
Collectible #7 –Empty Vial Evidence
Last but not least, you’ll also need to collect the first Evidence in the game. This one is found near the previous collectible.
After you check the signpost above, get close to the large tree nearby and interact with it while standing near the glowing spot on the ground (marked below).
