In the new Saints Row video game, Mercado is a Los Panteros Territory you’ll need to conquer, and one of the steps towards this objective involves finding all 13 Discoveries. Similar to the previous territory we’ve explored (Smelterville West), the Mercado Discoveries won’t appear on your in-game map or minimap unless you get close to them.
Hence, if you want to fill the Discoveries bar, you must know where to look for all collectibles in this territory. The said collectibles are divided into the following categories:
- 9 Pallet Pickups
- 2 Photo Hunts
- 1 Dumpster Diving
- 1 Weather Station
Mercado Discoveries Map
As with all SR location guides, let’s start with the map that shows the locations you need to visit in the Mercado area.
As you can notice on the map above, there are 9 Drug Pallet Pickups in this region. Following the same order as the one on our Mercado map, let’s go over every location where these collectibles have been hidden by the devs at Volition.
Where To Find All Mercado Drug Pallet Pickups
The Mercado Drug Pallet Pickups are found in three spots, two of them being in the central area. Since these collectibles are the most accessible, let’s start with them.
Discoveries #1-3 (Drug Pallets): On The Rooftops
The first set of Drug Pallets is found near the southeastern Mercado border. The Pallets are on the roofs of some buildings by the road. You can easily climb on the roofs by jumping while standing near the walls.
As you can see below, one Pallet is found near a chimney, the second near a satellite dish, and the third near an iron ladder.
Discoveries #4-6 (Drug Pallets): On the Roofs
The next batch of Mercado Drug Pallets is found north of the previous location. Drive to the spot marked on the map above, then go around the building. Upon reaching the back alley, hop on the roofs, and you’ll spot all three crates marked below.
As you can notice, one is next to a metal crate, the second near a chimney, and the third on a lower roof, by a dumpster you can use to ascend the roofs.
Discoveries #7-9 (Drug Pallets): By The Train Tracks
For the last 3 Mercado Pallets, head east from the previous spot. Look around for a solitary building when you get close to the train tracks. It’s easy to spot due to the paintings on the wall. Go around it, and you’ll see the first Pallet near the wooden fence, the second on the roof by the chimney, and the third near the demolished water tower.
How To Complete All Mercado Photo Hunts
Now that we’ve found the Drug Pallets let’s deal with the Photo Hunts in the Mercado area.
Discovery #10 (Photo Hunt): Western River Bank
The first one, as you can see on the map above, is found on the western side, by the river bank. This Mercado Photo Hunt requires you to photograph the 66 West on-ramp mural. If you don’t know where to find the said mural, drive to the location I have marked and remain close to the water.
The mural is on the ramp of the highway leading to El Dorado. Pull out your camera and take a photo.
Discovery #11 (Photo Hunt): On Top of la Bodega
The second Mercado Photo Hunt states that you must photograph a jackalope. First, drive to the location marked on the map above, then look around for a bar named La Bodega.
It’s by the street and pretty easy to spot. On top of the bar is the Saints Row jackalope, a rabbit with stag horns. Snap a picture, and the hunt is complete.
How To Get the Mercado Dumpster Diving
The next Discovery (12th) is more accessible and easy to find. The Dumpster Diving or the golden Dumpster in this area is very close to your Apartment. So, fast-travel to your house, then head southeast. The hidden Dumpster, as you can see, is behind a trailer.
Where To Find the Mercado Weather Station
The last of the Discoveries (13th) we’ll go over is the Weather Station, which is near the eastern border of this territory. Again, you’ll have to travel to the location I have marked above and approach the Weather Station. As you can see, it’s near a parking lot.
And that’s about it, friends. You just found all Mercado Discoveries in Saints Row 2022, and if you’re looking for the five hidden Mercado Collectibles, I got you covered.
