Compton’s Cookoff Emotional Baggage and Tags count as collectibles you’ll have to find in the fourth brain Raz gets to explore. In Psychonauts 2, Compton’s Cookoff is the area that becomes available after Hollis’ Hot Streak. There are five Emotional Baggage collectibles and five Tags you’ll have to find here if you aim for 100% completion at the end of the video game developed by Double Fine Productions.
When you start this level, you’ll enter a cooking contest. Because you’ll be racing against time, focus on finishing all three cooking rounds without worrying too much about the collectibles in this area. The timer can also be ignored, meaning that you can still finish the level if the time runs out.
Then, replay the level using the device in Sasha’s Laboratory and mop up all collectibles you may have missed.
Emotional Baggage Tag #1 – Steamer Trunk

Normally, the first Compton’s Cookoff Emotional Baggage Tag must be won by completing one of the three cooking rounds within the allotted time. However, this may not be possible for some players. Therefore, you’ll find it simply by replaying the level. As you can see below, it’s outside the Mystery Box that vanishes after defeating the judges at the end of this level.
Emotional Baggage Tag #2 – Purse

The next tag is on the right side of the previous one. You’ll spot it on top of a pipe. To get it, head to the upper section (where the pink pig is found), then slide down the pipe. Keep in mind that you can change Raz’s direction while sliding by pressing Y.
Emotional Baggage Tag #3 – Hatbox

After you get the previous tag, turn around to see the next tag floating above one of the seats in the public area. It’s on the right side while facing the ramp leading to the mixer.
Emotional Baggage #4 – Hatbox
Brain Location: Main Stage
Now that you have the corresponding tag turn around to see the Hatbox on top of a chair. It’s in the public area, between the ramps leading to the pink pig head and the green pan.
Emotional Baggage Tag #5 – Dufflebag
Brain Location: Cooking Stations
For the next tag, head towards the ramp leading to the blue hippo (boiling station). Before jumping on the net, you should spot some nodes that allow Raz to use his Mental Connection ability. Follow them, and you’ll reach the back of the cooking station, where you’ll find the Dufflebag Tag.
Emotional Baggage #6 – Purse

The next Emotional Baggage is rather easy to spot. It is found on top of the ramp leading to the frying pan. Look for it while avoiding the hot surfaces that move around.
Emotional Baggage #7 – Steamer Trunk
Brain Location: Cooking Stations
One of the 5 Compton’s Cookoff Emotional Baggage, however, is a bit harder to spot. It is the Steamer Trunk located behind the large mixer. To get it, just go around the mixer now that you have the tag.
Emotional Baggage #8 – Dufflebag

After you get the previous bag, return to the pink pig (chopping area) and look behind the hand that is holding the cleaver. Here, you’ll find the Dufflebag.
Emotional Baggage Tag #9 – Suitcase
Brain Location: Cooking Stations
The fifth tag is almost impossible to spot unless you’re standing at the correct angle, so if you have a missing Psychonauts 2 Compton’s Cookoff Emotional Baggage Tag, this is the one. Look for it behind the frying pan frog station. Jump on the frog’s right eye, then jump and glide to get it.
Emotional Baggage #10 – Suitcase
Brain Location: Cooking Stations
The final Emotional Baggage in this level is the suitcase. You’ll find it in the lower section of the ramp leading to the boiling area. Look for it just before jumping on the net near the blue hippo.
