Psychonauts 2 Hollis’ Hot Streak Half-A-Mind Locations

Psychonauts 2 Hollis’ Hot Streak Half-A-Minds count as collectibles you’ll have to find while exploring the second section of Hollis’ Brain, and as you can probably guess throughout the locations guide below, I’ll tell you where to find them.

Compared to those in Hollis’ Classroom, Hollis’ Hot Streak Half-A-Mind collectibles are far more difficult to find, especially one of them that requires a keen eye and a bit of patience. There are 4 Half-A-Minds you’ll have to find while exploring Hollis’ Hot Streak, and you need the Dark Thoughts upgrade for Raz’s Mental Connection badge.

Half-A-Mind #1

The first Psychonauts 2 Half-A-Mind collectible is very easy to spot. It is located in the Shattered Classroom, or the first area you get to explore. From the central platform, look around you to spot it on a suspended round platform near a die. Use the Mental Connection to get on that platform.

Half-A-Mind #2

From the previous location, use the Mental Connection on the node above, then connect to the Risk thought. Now, connect to the node on your left side while facing the central area, and keep going until you see the second Half-A-Mind collectible in Hollis’ Hot Streak Shattered Classroom on another platform (pictured).

Half-A-Mind #3

Another Half-A-Mind can be found in the Cardiology Back Room. This one is, in fact, one of the trickiest collectibles here, as it is easy to miss and hard to get. Without spoiling the game for you, let me tell you that the Cardiology Back Room is the area you’ll reach via the Cardiology when you try to “fix” the Hearts to win the race.

Now, the moment you get there, in front of you, there’s a large gate immediately after the first platforms that change their colors. Once you pass through the said gate, turn left to spot the Half-A-Mind sitting on a couch.

If you want to get it in your first playthrough, try jumping and gliding from the red couch above. You may also want to use the Levitation Ball to gain some speed before jumping and gliding. So, if you have a missing Half-A-Mind collectible, most likely, this is the one.

Half-A-Mind #4

The last Half-A-Mind collectible in Psychonauts 2, Hollis’ Hot Streak, is found in the Maternity Ward: Backroom section. Again, you’ll get here via the Maternity Ward while trying to solve a puzzle related to the story.

When you reach this section, follow the platforms, and as you advance, you’ll spot the collectible on top of two dice on your right side. There are also three casino chips with light bulbs on them. While inside the node (pictured), remove the light bubbles using Raz’s Telekinesis, then jump on the chips and grab the fourth Half-A-Mind.

These are all 4 Half-A-Minds locations in Hollis’ Hot Streak level of Psychonauts 2, so make sure you get them when you reach this part of Hollis’ Brain, then get the 2 Half-A-Minds in Compton’s Cookoff.
