Psychonauts 2 Questionable Area PSI Challenge Card Locations

If you wonder where to find all Psychonauts 2 Questionable Area PSI Challenge Card locations, then throughout the guide below, I’ll tell you just that. The Questionable Area Cards hidden by the great devs at Double Fine Productions are far more complicated than those in the Mothelobe Quarry

On top of this, instead of 18, this time, you’ll need to find 27 Cards scattered all over the place. Let’s see where they are positioned. Before we start this comprehensive guide, remember that even though you can get these cards in any order you want, since there are so many, if you don’t want to get lost, then you should follow the order below.

Last but not least, unless otherwise stated, you won’t need special badges, upgrades, or gadgets, which means these can be easily found when you first enter the Questionable Area looking for Raz’s family.

PSI Challenge Card #1

Map Location: E (Lumberstack Diner)

In front of the Lumberstack Diner, there is an old car. Jump on it to collect the first Questionable Area PSI Challenge Card collectible.

PSI Challenge Card #2

Map Location: E (Lumberstack Diner)

After you get the previous card, head inside the diner and walk over to the card standing in the middle of the building. 

PSI Challenge Card #3

Map Location: E (Lumberstack Diner)

On your way out, check the bathroom near the jukebox. You can open the door the moment you reach this area.

PSI Challenge Card #4

Map Location: Central Area

When you enter the central area (notice the Entrance sign above the wooden gate), head left towards the Rebel Roundabout, and you’ll see the next collectible card on a metal chair. There are also two iron lumberjacks next to it.

PSI Challenge Card #5

Map Location: Central Area

After you get the previous card, head back to the entrance and get the one on the right side (pictured). Grab the branch to swing and collect it.

PSI Challenge Card #6

Map Location: Central Area

While standing outside the camp, facing the Entrance sign, look to your left to spot a wooden platform (pictured) up in a tree. Use the flagpoles to get the card on top of this platform.

PSI Challenge Card #7

Map Location: F (Forgetful Forest)

On top of the large log connecting the central area with the Forgetful Forest. This one is close to the Campfire icon on your map. Simply jump on the log.

PSI Challenge Card #8

Map Location: F (Forgetful Forest)

While standing near the Campfire, facing the green target, look to the left, and you’ll see a platform with a ladder. Climb it to get the next Questionable Area Card collectible.

PSI Challenge Card #9

Map Location: F (Forgetful Forest)

From the previous location, follow the branches near the platform, then the rope that takes you to another platform. Now stop, and on the right side, you’ll see a flagpole. Climb it, then jump to get to the card on the tree platform pictured below.

Map Location: F (Forgetful Forest)

From the previous location, retrace your steps (jump) to the previous platform. Keep swinging on the next two branches, then use the green bush to reach the next PSI Card in the Questionable Area.

Map Location: F (Forgetful Forest)

Now, it’s time to glide or retrace your steps to the toilets below. Close to the blue building, you’ll see two flagpoles. On top of the second one is one of the Challenge Cards. Just climb the pole to get it.

Map Location: F (Forgetful Forest)

The next collectible card is easy to spot from the previous location. All you have to do is grab the ladder while jumping from the roof of the toilets. You can also use the Levitation Ball to go higher.

PSI Challenge Card #13

Map Location: B (Fierro’s Funicular)

Before starting the Funicular, grab the PSI Card under the ramp leading up the mountain.

PSI Challenge Card #14

Map Location: B (Fierro’s Funicular)

For the next set of cards, you have to repair Fierro’s Funicular. To do so, you’ll need three cogs. 

• The first one is in front of the Funicular
• The second one is by a large rock and a bench also in front of the Funicular
• The last one sits by the ramp leading up the mountain (left side while facing the ramp)

Use Raz’s Telekinesis to get the cogs and place them on the Funicular’s pins to get the train moving up the mountain. The moment you reach the top, turn left to spot the next card between the trees.

PSI Challenge Card #15

Map Location: B (Fierro’s Funicular)

The next card is one of the easiest. Simply get inside the Questionable Gifts building to find it.

Map Location: B (Fierro’s Funicular)

Now it’s time to check the platforms on the other side, near the waterfall. After you jump over the first gap, walk on the trapeze on the right side to get another card.

PSI Challenge Card #17

Map Location: B (Fierro’s Funicular)

Retrace your steps after the previous card, then jump on the next platform. Use Raz’s PSI Blast to shoot the swing and destroy the obstacle, then just swing to the next platform.

PSI Challenge Card #18

Map Location: F (Forgetful Forest)

On your way back from the Funicular, stop by the campfire and find the blue toilets. Reach the roof using the flagpole on the ground, then hop on the ladder to the wooden platform. Use the Levitation Ball if you can’t reach it.

Now, use the rope to get to the next platform, then go around it to find a flagpole.  Climb it, then grab the Chest Key. Now, look for the green flower in my screenshot and jump on it to get to the next card. It sits in a nest.

PSI Challenge Card #19

Map Location: Central Area

Another accessible card is found behind the watermill. Don’t miss this one when you head toward the Cave of the Sassclops.

Map Location: C (Cave of the Sassclops)

Now it’s time for you to check the Cave of the Sassclops. One of the Questionable Area Cards is found on the right side of the cave the moment you enter. Just jump to grab it.

PSI Challenge Card #21

Map Location: C (Cave of the Sassclops)

In the same cave as the previous card is the one pictured below. Swing on the skeleton bones, and you’ll find it near a large poster you may want to burn.

PSI Challenge Card #22

Map Location: C (Cave of the Sassclops)

Once you burn the poster near the previous card, you’ll find a hidden area. That’s where the PSI Card below is found.

PSI Challenge Card #23

Map Location: E (Lumberstack Diner)

Behind the Lumberstack Diner building, look for a cave and notice that its entrance is blocked by boulders. Use Raz’s melee attacks to remove the boulders and find a new Challenge PSI Card.

PSI Challenge Card #24

Map Location: E (Lumberstack Diner)

After you get the previous Questionable Area PSI Card collectible, turn around and notice the tree with some vines growing on its trunk (pictured). Climb them to get to the platform, where you’ll find the 24th card in this area.

PSI Challenge Card #25

Map Location: F (Forgetful Forest)

Return to the Forgetful Forest area and look for a warning sign on a wooden fence just behind the campfire. Nearby, you’ll see another cave with a blocked entrance. Destroy the boulders with melee attacks and claim the card inside this hidden cave.

For the last 2 Questionable Area Cards, let’s head back to the campfire near Forgetful Forest. The first card is extremely easy to miss. To get it, go back to the toilets and open all doors. The card is behind one of them, but keep in mind that the building has two sides.

Map Location: F (Forgetful Forest)

Finally, outside the toilet, climb the flagpoles and look towards the Lumberstack Diner. You’ll see the last Challenge Card on a wooden platform. Jump and swing to get it.
