Hollis’ Hot Streak Nuggets of Wisdom count as Psychonauts 2 collectibles you’ll have to find while exploring the second section of Hollis’ Brain, but unlike those in Hollis’ Classroom, they require multiple playthroughs.
Or, simply put, you won’t be able to get the Hollis’ Hot Streak Nuggets of Wisdom when you first play this level. The Nuggets of Wisdom are small golden signs depicting two snakes. They allow you to increase Raz’s rank faster.
There are 4 Nuggets of Wisdom you’ll have to find while exploring Hollis’ Hot Streak, and they require the Dark Thoughts upgrade for Raz’s Mental Connection badge and the Projection Badge.
Nugget Of Wisdom #1 – Casino Parking Lot
The first Psychonauts 2 Nuggets of Wisdom collectible is actually easy to get but a bit hard to spot. You’ll find it in the Casino Parking Lot (or the former hospital parking lot). Look for it on the Emergency billboard above the entrance. You can get there using the nodes nearby and Raz’s Mental Connection.
Nugget Of Wisdom #2 – Pharmacy Backroom
One of the Nuggets of Wisdom collectibles is found in the Pharmacy Backroom Area. Since this can’t be collected on your first playthrough because you must unlock the Dark Thoughts Mental Connection badge upgrade, you’ll need to use the replay option in Sasha’s laboratory, then interact with the green worm to select this specific room.
The moment you enter the Pharmacy Backroom, shoot the purple crystals on the ground (left side), jump on the pink heart, then, after the first node, look to your left side. You’ll see a Dark Thoughts node you can access after unlocking the said upgrade. Connect to it and to the next one; then you’ll be able to spot the Nugget of Wisdom.
Nugget Of Wisdom #3 – The Records
The third Nugget of Wisdom in Hollis’ Hot Streak is one of the trickiest. To get it, while in the Morgue, rotate the die and enter the Records Room. Now, follow the main corridor until you reach the other side, where there are three slots. Turn left, and you’ll see another corridor. Follow it to find a desk and behind it a poster you can burn. Do this, and you’ll find the collectible.
Nugget Of Wisdom #4 – Cardiology
The last Nugget of Wisdom in Hollis’ Hot Streak is in the Cardiology room. You can access it via the Morgue or when replaying this level. When you get to the Cardiology while facing what seems to be a bar, on the right side is a door that leads to the storage room.
Cross it and behind another door, but in a smaller room, you’ll find the Nugget of Wisdom. Keep in mind that for this one, you need the Projection badge that allows Raz to shrink.
