Psychonauts 2 Quarry PSI Challenge Markers Locations Guide

Along with all 18 PSI Challenge Cards we already covered, in order to help Raz reach Rank 100, you’ll also need to find all Psychonauts 2 Quarry PSI Challenge Markers.

The Psychonauts 2 Motherlobe Quarry PSI Challenge Markers are harder to find compared to those in the Motherlobe area, but for each Challenge Marker you find, Raz gains one rank.

Since there are 5 PSI Challenge Markers in the Quarry, it means that you’ll level up Raz five times simply by finding these collectibles. So let’s see how you can do that. 

All Motherlobe Quarry PSI Challenge Markers Locations

Before moving on to the actual locations, it’s worth pointing out that you can get all these markers the moment you enter the Quarry for the first time.

The only required piece of equipment is the Thought Tuner which can be obtained from Otto, but since he is also in the Quarry area, it means that you won’t encounter too many difficulties.

Last but not least, there is no particular order to get these items as long as you get all of them.

Quarry PSI Challenge Marker 1

Map Location: 2 (Treehouse)

How To Get: When you reach the Treehouse using the boat or by jumping on the floating logs while standing in front of the tree, pull out your Thought Tuner unlocked by talking to Otto.

Scan the area in front of the tree to unlock several nodes that allow Raz to use his Mental Connection and reach the stone in the water. 

Quarry PSI Challenge Marker 2

Map Location: C (Research and Development)

How To Get: When you reach Otto’s Lab front entrance, pull out your Thought Tuner unlocked by talking to Otto.

Place Raz near the black cars and scan the area to reveal several nodes that will take you to the roof of the building, where this collectible awaits.

Quarry PSI Challenge Marker 3

Map Location: A (The Motherlobe)

How To Get: From the Motherlobe Entrance, head right while facing the Quarry, and use the steam lift to glide up. Hug the right side of the mountain and use the branch to get to the large rocks in the distance.

While standing on them, pull out the Thought Tuner and use it to reveal more nodes that will take you to the back of the Motherlobe building where this collectible is found.

Quarry PSI Challenge Marker 4

Map Location: D (Mux Turbine)

How To Get: The fourth Motherlobe Quarry PSI Challenge Marker is by far the trickiest in this area.

This one is located behind the waterfall where the Mux Turbine is marked on your map.

To get it, you’ll need the boat, and then you’ll have to climb the platforms near the mountain. Behind the waterfall is a hidden area with a generator you’ll have to stop.

To get there, use the pipe to slide, then you’ll have to stop the Mux Turbine generator.

Pull the levers in this order:

• Blue
• Yello
• Purple

Now hop on the generator, then grab the metal ledge and get inside the cage to collect the PSI Marker.

Quarry PSI Challenge Marker 5

Map Location: B (Psychoisolation Chamber)

How To Get: The final PSI Challenge Marker in this area is found on the roof of the Psychoisolation Chamber. 

To get there, from the previous marker, use the platforms to reach the highest point where you’ll see a swing.

Carefully grab the swing when it’s close to Raz, then when it reaches the apex, jump and immediately glide. The air will push you right near this collectible.

These are all PSI Challenge Markers locations hidden by the Double Fine Productions developers in the Motherlobe Quarry area of Psychonauts 2, but seven more await in the Questionable Area and let me tell you that they are significantly harder.
