Psychonauts 2 Motherlobe Supply Chest Locations

Once you are done with the Supply Chest Keys in The Motherlobe area, it’s time to start looking for all Psychonauts 2 Motherlobe Supply Chests. If you check your area map, you’ll notice that there are six Psychonauts 2 Supply Chests you’ll have to find in the first area of the video game developed by Double Fine Productions, and as usual in the guide below, we’ll cover all of them.

Before we start, keep in mind that some chests in the Motherlobe area can’t be collected unless you advance through the story. In fact, when Raz reaches Motherlobe for the first time, he’ll be able to open only 2 Supply Chests.

Supply Chest #1

Map Location: N (Storage)

After you meet Raz’s friends, you’ll end up naked in the Storage Room. Once the cutscene ends, burn the poster in the first room, then hop through the hole behind it. Now, you’ll be in a larger room where you’ll need to use Harold the rat to escape. The first Psychonauts 2 Motherlobe Supply Chest sits in a room on the right side of the code-locked door. The key for this chest is around the corner on top of an air pipe.

Supply Chest #2

Map Location: J (Noodle Bowl)

One of the Psychonauts 2 Supply Chests is a bit hard to spot. You’ll find it in the Noodle Bowl cafeteria, and to get it, you’ll have to climb on the ivy wall on the right side as you enter. Keep following the plants, and go all the way up. Now, jump on the appliances and follow them to spot the chest in my screenshot. 

Supply Chest #3

Map Location: F (Mailroom)

The third Psychonauts 2 Motherlobe Chest is in the Mailroom office. This one, however, becomes accessible once you complete one of the story missions. After fixing Ford’s brain, you’ll be teleported here, and the Mailroom Office will remain open.

Supply Chest #4

Map Location: G (Astral Lanes Bowling)

Following the same logic as the chest above is the Supply Chest in the Astral Lanes Bowling. Focus on the main missions, and then when the bowling area becomes available, you’ll see it near the right-side bowling track.

Supply Chest #5

Map Location: O (Ford’s Hair Salon)

A third chest linked to Ford and his mission is the one in the Hair Salon. Just like the previous two, it sits in plain sight, but you have to complete the corresponding levels to obtain it.

Supply Chest #6

Map Location: B (Nerve Center)

The final chest you can get in The Motherlobe is the one in the Nerve Center. After you unlock the Thought Scanner from Otto and the Mental Connection Badge, scan the area in front of the stairs leading to the Office of the Grand Head. After you reveal the nodes, connect to them to get to the upper section where the chest can be observed.

And that’s it! These are all Supply Chests locations in the Motherlobe area of Psychonauts 2, but the next four in the Quarry are not so easy to find.
