The Psychonauts 2 Green Needle Gulch Supply Chests can be unlocked using the 2 Supply Chest Keys in the last area of the game or other keys you have not used yet; however, in order to open them, you first need to know their locations. Because of this, throughout the following locations guide, I’ll tell you where to find them.
There are only two of them, but the second one can prove difficult to spot, and you won’t be able to access it right away. Since the second chest in the original colony of the Psychonauts also requires the Projection Badge, which is unlocked by completing the mission in Cassie’s Hives, you won’t be able to get 100% in this area before that mission. The first one below, however, can be found when you scout the area for the PSI Challenge Cards.
Supply Chest #1
Map Location: E (Compton’s Menagerie)
One of the two Green Needle Gulch Supply Chests is found in Compton’s Menagerie. This one is actually in plain sight, on top of the hill behind the menagerie at the base of the mountain. Make sure you get it while passing through this area on your way to Bob’s Greenhouse.
Supply Chest #2
Map Location: I (Cassie’s Hives)
The second Psychonauts 2 Supply Chest requires the Projection Badge, which allows Raz to shrink. If you did not unlock it yet, you’ll have to return to this area. The chest is found in Cassie’s Hives area, specifically inside her house. When you get here (consider grabbing the smoker at the bottom of the hill using Raz’s Telekinesis), head to the top floor and look for a locked door. Behind it is the chest.
