Psychonauts 2 Motherlobe Supply Chest Key Locations

Motherlobe Supply Chest Keys are hidden Psychonauts 2 collectibles you can find in the first area of the video game developed by Double Fine Productions. They are used to open some of the Supply Chests in this area, and they are required to get 100% completion in The Motherlobe. 

Since they are not so easy to find, especially early in the game, the following Motherlobe Chest Key locations guide explains where to look for them. Before we start our guide, it’s worth pointing out that there are six hidden Chest Keys in Motherlobe, but not all of them can be acquired the moment Raz enters the HQ.

At least two of them require you to progress through the story, therefore consider returning to this guide if you encounter difficulties in finding the hidden Motherlobe Keys.

Supply Chest Key #1

Map Location: N (Storage)

Once you meet Raz’s friends, you’ll end up naked in the Storage Room. After the cutscene, burn the poster in the first room, then hop through the hole behind it. Now, you’ll be in a larger room where you’ll need to use Harold the rat to escape. The first Motherlobe Chest Key sits on top of an air pipe on the left side of the purple mouse hole.

Supply Chest Key #2

Map Location: L (Office Of The Second Head)

The next Chest Key is found in Hollis’ Office. You can visit this area early in the game, during the story, or later. Regardless, when you get here, look for the key on top of the library.

Supply Chest Key #3

Map Location: F (Mailroom)

One of the 6 Chest Keys that is extremely easy to miss is the first one in the Mailroom. When you get to this area looking for Nick, make sure you check the area under the stairs leading to the lowest floor. Destroy the boxes to get to this collectible.

Supply Chest Key #4

Map Location: C (Office Of The Grand Head)

The next key is found in Truman’s office, on top of the Nerve Center. After you talk to him as part of the story, look for it on the left side while facing Truman. It’s on a shelf in plain sight, and you can reach it by compressing the Levitation Ball.

Supply Chest Key #5

Map Location: F (Mailroom)

Another Motherlobe Key that can be acquired later in the game is the second one in the Mailroom. This one is found on the upper level, behind a large fan. To be able to get it you’ll need the Time Bubble Badge obtained when you play the PSI King’s Sensorium level. The said badge allows you to slow down the fan and get the Chest Key.

Supply Chest Key #6

Map Location: 3 (Milla’s Office)

The final Psychonauts 2 Key is found in Milla’s Office. The office is in section E (Agent’s Offices), and the key is found on top of a shelf on the left side as you enter. Keep in mind that this area becomes available via story progression.
