Immortals Fenyx Rising Clashing Rocks Mountain Cave Epic Chest Guide

The Immortals Fenyx Rising Clashing Rocks mountain cave epic chest is one of the trickiest collectibles in the Clashing Rocks area of the video game developed by Ubisoft. It can be found inside a mountain cave on a southern island, and just like all Clashing Rocks Epic Chests we have covered so far, it allows you to unlock a piece of gear.

This specific Immortals Fenyx Rising chest contains the Mane of Pride Helm, which is part of the Lion Armor Set. The chest is inside a mountain cave at the location marked on my map below. As you can see is beneath the Night Chest in this area. Finding the entrance to this Clashing Rocks mountain cave is the first task, but if you stand in the exact same spot as the one on the map, you’ll see a shipwreck.

That shipwreck is the location you’ll have to find because, from the ledge above it, you’ll be able to glide (make sure you complete the corresponding quest to unlock this ability) straight to the cave’s entrance.

How To Open the Clashing Rocks Mountain Cave Epic Chest

Good, so in my picture below, you can see the cave’s entrance and the location you’ll have to reach.

Now, glide above the gap and land next to the entrance. Once inside, take a look around, and you’ll spot a plate you’ll have to activate. To do that, you’ll need two cubes or crates. While facing the chest, turn left and look up to spot the first crate inside a hole in the ceiling.

Grab it using Herakles’s Strength, but don’t place it on the plate just yet. Instead, throw it into the breakable wall on the right side (as you see in my screenshot).

Now place the crate on the plaque and look up at the wall you just destroyed. You should notice a second box. Place it on the plate as you see in my image. Now, the chest opens, and the prize inside is yours.
