How To Unlock the Clashing Rocks Observatory Rooftop Epic Chest

The Epic Chest containing this piece of gear is the most accessible in the first area of the video game, simply because you don’t have to complete a puzzle to get it. This specific chest is also related to a main quest, meaning that you’ll visit the roof of the Observatory early in the game. All you have to do in order to claim this piece of gear is to open the chest in the image below.

It sits in the opening, and climbing on the roof of the Observatory is rather easy. Keep in mind, though, that this is the only Epic Chest in the Clashing Rocks area that doesn’t require you to solve a puzzle. The rest of them are trickier than this one, but on the other hand, the loot is also better.
