Tunic Beneath The Eastern Vault Golden Chest Locations

Tunic Beneath The Eastern Vault Golden Chests are optional but helpful, so I suggest not missing a single one because, as you can see, the video game published by Finji is getting harder and harder. Beneath the Eastern Vault can be accessed from the Fortress of the Eastern Vault area.

To loot all Beneath The Eastern Vault Golden Chests, you’ll need the Lantern because the area is very dark. There is a total of five Golden Chests in the Beneath The Eastern Vault area, containing the following:

• Ability Card
• Blue Mushroom
• Pink Fruit
• Flower
• Golden Coin

Where To Find All Beneath The Eastern Vault Golden Chests in Tunic

Let’s start with the Beneath The Eastern Vault map, where I’ve pinpointed all five Golden Chests.

The entrance to Beneath The Eastern Vault is at the beginning of the Fortress Of The Eastern Vault area, a little to the north. Don’t forget to activate the obelisks along the way. Also, you should access the Fortress Of The Eastern Vault area after taking care of the Garden Knight in the West Garden and opening the golden gates of the Sealed Temple in the Overworld.

Don’t forget to explore the Temple, of course. Afterward, go to the Fortress Of The Eastern Vault east of the Overworld, get in Beneath The Eastern Vault, and start looking for the Golden Chests listed below.

Golden Chest #1: Behind the Waterfall

Once you’re down the ladder and in Beneath The Eastern Vault, smash the crates in the small room to reveal a hole in the wall to the north. Go through the wall and find your way to the first marked location on the map above.

The path is straightforward, so getting lost is hard, even with all the darkness. At the said location, you have to go behind the waterfall through the middle of it to loot the first Beneath The Eastern Vault Golden Chest.

Inside the Chest, you’ll find an Ability Card that, if equipped, decreases the enemy detection radius. So, it could be handy if you want to be a sneaky fox.

Golden Chest #2: Across the Bridge

Now go to the opposite side of the waterfall from where you got Chest #1 to find an entry point to a corridor. Proceed through, and you’ll soon find yourself above the waterfall from before. Cross the bridge ahead and go through the hole in the wall to the east.

Take a few steps forward until you can cross to the other side of the water with the help of two wooden boards. Now, head back west on this side to reach the waterfall area again. However, on this side, you have an object that you can hit with your sword to make two bridges appear that will get you to the third Golden Chest. Open the Chest to receive a Blue Mushroom.

Golden Chest #3: Second Cell to the Left

Upon collecting the previous Chest, go to the third marked location on the map above (to the east); you can’t really get lost because the path is linear. You’ll find a couple of cells on the left and right of the corridor at the said location. Enter the second cell to the left, the one after the torch on the wall.

The next Tunic Chest awaits inside, and it contains Pink Fruit that you should use if you want to recover some health.

Golden Chest #4: The Cell Before the Torch on the Wall

After exiting the cell with Chest #3, go north through the entrance on the left, where the corridor ends. And you’ll find yourself in another corridor with cells. Go inside the last cell on the right before the torch on the wall.

The cell holds the fourth Beneath The Eastern Vault Golden Chest, which contains a Flower.

Golden Chest #5: Near Some Barrels

Now proceed to the final room, where the last Golden Chest is located, right in the northeast corner, as you can see on the map above. You’ll first have to destroy some barrels that block the way to Golden Chest #5. Loot the Chest to get a Golden Coin, and you’re done.
