Tunic The Frog’s Domain Golden Chest Locations

Tunic Frog’s Domain Golden Chests are trickier to loot than the ones in the Fortress Of The Eastern Vault area. The Chests are packed with the following goodies:

• Blue Fruit
• Flower
• Game Currency
• Potion Shard
• Explosive Bomb
• Pink Fruit
• Fang

To get the loot, you need the Magic Orb, which can also be obtained in The Frog’s Domain, and the Teleport Dash, which you can get toward the end of the video game published by Finji. You also have to know where to look, as some Chests are well hidden, so check the guide below to be sure you don’t miss any of the golden chests.

Where To Find All Frog’s Domain Gold Chests in Tunic

You should go to Frog’s Domain after destroying the Siege Engine boss in the Fortress Of The Eastern Vault area. The Frog’s Domain’s entrance is in the Ruined Atoll area, south of the Overworld.

You can go to Ruined Atoll through the entrance on the beach south of the windmill in the middle of the Overworld map.

As you can see on the map above, there is a ladder you have to use, and you can easily miss it. The ladder is under the broken section of a bridge.

Next, you must head to The Frog’s Domain entrance, east of the Fox Shrine in Ruined Atoll.

Also, here is the Chest locations map to aid you in your search. Now let’s get to it, one Chest at a time.

Golden Chest #1: Near a Hook

Right after entering Frog’s Domain, remain on the floor above the Fox Shrine and go to the hook near the edge, to the northwest. Use the Magic Orb to get to the hook on the other side, where the first Chest awaits.

You can always come back later if you don’t have the Magic Orb. Loot the Chest to get a Blue Fruit that you can consume to slightly restore your energy (blue bar).

Golden Chest #2: Near a Table

You can now make your way to the second marked location on the map above. It’s easy to get to with the help of the map above, and you’ll find the second Chest near a table.

The Chest rewards you with a Flower you can use to upgrade your health bar.

Golden Chest #3: Through the Space in the Wall

In the northeast corner of the room from where you got Chest #2, there is a space in the wall you can get through to reach the next Gold Chest. Squeeze through and open the Chest to get Game Currency.

Golden Chest #4: Near a Bathtub

Return to the room with Chest #2 and go to the hook on the west side. Use the Magic Orb to get to the hook on the other side, or use the Teleport Dash, whatever you prefer.

Next, go through the darkness to enter a room where you’ll find Chest #4 near a sort of bathtub. Get a Potion Shard from the Chest and move on.

Golden Chest #5: Near the Edge

Go toward the fifth marked location on the map above, and you’ll reach a corridor (outside the room from where you got Chest #2). As you can see on the map, there is an entrance to the fifth Golden Chest in the corridor. If you can’t find the entrance, look for the carpet on the southwest of the corridor.

Follow the carpet into the darkness to enter the room with the fifth Tunic Golden Chest. Loot the Chest near the edge of the room to receive an Explosive Bomb.

Golden Chest #6: Between Two Banners

Now go all the way to the western corner of The Frog’s Domain map, which is easy to get to from Chest #5. Once at the said location, you’ll find the next Gold Chest between two banners. Open the Chest to get a Pink Fruit.

Golden Chest #7: Near a Fire

After getting Chest #6, go down the ladder and stairs, then cross the wooden boards you find along the way to reach the area in front of a gate. Near the gate, you’ll find two guards you must take out, and then near a fire, you can spot another chest.

Get the Game Currency from the Chest and open the gate using the lever on the right.

Golden Chest #8: To the Right of a Giant Golden Door

Upon raising the gate, go through it to find the next Golden Chest on the right side of a giant golden door. Inside the Chest, you have a Fang that you can use at a Fox Shrine to upgrade your attack.

Golden Chest #9: In A Pool

Behind Chest #8, you can go through a hole in the wall to get to a new room.

You can find the ninth Chest in a pool filled with green liquid and enemies. You have another Explosive Bomb inside the Chest.

Golden Chest #10: Northeast of a Wooden Platform

Continue from the room with Chest #9, and you’ll soon reach another room from where you would normally get the Magic Orb if you haven’t already. Use the Magic Orb on the hook near the hole in the wall.

Then, go through the hole and use the Magic Orb again to reach the final location marked on the map above, which is northeast of a wooden platform. Teleport Dash to the Chest and open it to get more Game Currency.
