Captain Starshield is a Ratchet & Clank Rift Apart Armour Set you can use in the video game developed by Insomniac Games to increase the amount of XP gained by 20%. The Captain Starshield Armour Set requires you to find the Captain Starshield Boots, the Captain Starshield Helmet, and the Captain Starshield Chest Armor. These three pieces are located on the following planets:
- Captain Starshield Helmet is on Planet 4: Savali
- Captain Starshield Chest Armor is on Planet 7: Cordelion
- Finally, Captain Starshield Boots are found on Planet 8: Ardolis
Once you get all three pieces, if you equip them, you’ll earn more experience points and level up faster.
Where To Find the Captain Starshield Helmet
Since we want to go over these Armor Parts chronologically, the Captain Starshield Helmet is the first we’ll cover in our guide because it is on Planet 4: Savali. It is located in the southeasternmost pocket dimension, as pictured on the map below.
When you get inside the Pocket Dimension, you’ll need to complete another challenge which may prove a bit tricky. The goal here is to run along the walls and also shoot the explosive crates that block your way. Keep in mind that you can use your weapons while in the air.
When you get close to the end, don’t shoot the boxes that form the large square. Instead, land off them and jump quickly before they detonate. Dash forward and grab the yellow rift in the distance. When you get through the rift, you’ll end up next to the Captain Starshield Helmet in the following image.
How To Get the Captain Starshield Chest Armor
The next part you’ll have to collect for this set is the Captain Starshield Chest Armor, found on Planet 7: Cordelion. This is inside another Pocket Dimension you can see below.
To get the Captain Starshield Chest Armor, first, destroy the forge, then before using the Blizon Crystal (also on the map), enter the Pocket Dimension. The challenge you’ll need to complete here is more accessible because to get to the end of the section, all you need to do is to shoot some floating creatures.
When you do that, they’ll open creating platforms you can jump on. The idea here is to open the platforms before jumping. As you can see, the armor part is waiting for you on an elevated platform.
Where To Find the Captain Starshield Boots
Last but not least, to complete this set, you’ll need to get the Captain Starshield Boots from Planet 8: Ardolis. Once more, you’ll need to finish a Pocket Dimension challenge, which is found at the location marked below.
To get to it, you’ll need to take an optional path, and from the upper level (after the room where the world is glitching and waves of enemies spawn), you have to drop on the beach below. If you take your time exploring this area, it’s quite easy to find.
Once inside, obviously, you’ll need to complete another challenge, which is focused on grappling. The path is linear, and all you have to do is to time your grappling moves. As you can see, at the end of this section, you’ll land next to the Captain Starshield Boots.
After you get the Boots, your Captain Starshield Armor Set is complete, so go ahead and equip it if you want to level up faster.
