Ratchet & Clank Rift Apart Wasteland Gear Armor is one of the 8 Armour Sets you can collect and use in the video game developed by Insomniac Games for PlayStation 5 if you wish to decrease the damage received from indigenous creatures by 20%.
The Ratchet & Clank Rift Apart Wasteland Gear Armour Set requires you to find three parts in order to be able to trigger the Collection Bonus or to benefit from it.
These parts can be accessed and equipped via the Amour Tab, but to do that, first, you’ll have to get them.
Therefore, let’s see how to get the Wasteland Gear Armor in Ratchet & Clank Rift Apart.
Ratchet & Clank Rift Apart Wasteland Gear Armor Parts Locations
As said to complete this set, you need to find the Wasteland Gear Boots, the Wasteland Gear Helmet, and the Wasteland Gear Chest Armor.
The good thing about these three pieces is that they are all located on Planet 4: Savali, along with other items listed here.
The bad thing, though, is that you’ll need to do a little bit of Lorb hunting to get them.
Once you do this, you can equip the armor set pictured below.
Now, let’s cover them one by one and see what you need to do if you want to look like a Wastelander.
Where To Find The Wasteland Gear
Unlike all other Armor Sets in the video game, the Wasteland Gear Parts come as rewards for completing a side-quest, the Wasteland Gear Boots being the first reward you’ll get.
As such, first of all, travel to Planet Savali and find the Ms. Zurkon weapon vendor pictured below.
Close to his location, you’ll find a Monk Scholar who is willing to trade all Wasteland Gear Parts if you bring him 12 Lombax Lorbs.
So basically, to get the set, you’ll need to find 12 Lorbs and finish the Hunt for Lombax Lore side-quest.
Once you find the first 3, return to the Monk Scholar, and he’ll give you the Wasteland Gear Boots.
Then, he’ll ask you to bring 7 Lorbs in exchange for the Wasteland Gear Chest Armor.
And finally, if you bring all 12 Lombax Lorbs, he’ll hand you the Wasteland Gear Helmet.
What you should know about these Lombax Lorbs; is that they look like shrines, and they get marked on your map once you are close to them.
Additionally, after you find the first three, all of them will be marked on your map, making them quite easy to find.
Here is what a Lombax Lorb looks like in Ratchet & Clank Rift Apart.
After you get the Helmet, thus completing the side-quest, your Ratchet & Clank Rift Apart Wasteland Gear Armor Set is complete, so go ahead and equip it to reduce the damage you receive from indigenous creatures.
