Ratchet & Clank Rift Apart Carbonox Advanced Armor Set Part Locations

Carbonox Advanced Armor is a Ratchet & Clank Rift Apart set you can collect and use in the video game developed by Insomniac Games if you wish to increase the amount of gained bolts by 20%. The Carbonox Advanced Armour Set requires you to find three pieces in order to be able to trigger the Collection Bonus, which is quite useful for farming bolts.

So you need to find the Carbonox Advanced Boots, the Carbonox Advanced Helmet, and the Carbonox Advanced Chest. The good thing about these pieces is that all of them are located on the same planet and in the same location, Scarstu Debris Field. Once you get all three pieces, if you equip them, you’ll get 20% more bolts, as you can see in the following screenshot.

Where To Find the Carbonox Advanced Boots

The Carbonox Advanced Boots and, in fact, all Carbonox Advanced Armor Pieces come as rewards for completing Battleplex Challenges. The Boots, in this case, can be collected after you finish “A Grunthor Named Sue” Bronze Battleplex Challenge. So, interact with the screen found in Zurkie’s bar at the location below.

Once you do that, pick the Bronze Battleplex Challenge named A Grunthor Named Sue from the list. Finish the challenge, and the Carbonox Advance Boots are yours.

How To Get the Carbonox Advanced Chest

The Carbonox Advanced Chest Armor also comes as a reward for a Battleplex Challenge you can finish in Zurkie’s bar, but this one is named Revenge of the Seekerpede. The Revenge of the Seekerpede is a Silver Battleplex Challenge, and it becomes available only after you finish the seventh planet.

This means that in order to get the Carbonox Chest Armor, you’ll have to finish Planet 7: Cordelion. Once you do that, the story takes you back to Zurkie’s bar, but this time, you’ll be able to play the Silver Battleplex Challenges. The Revenge of the Seekerpede is the fifth one, and to be able to play it, you’ll have to complete the first four:

• The Mangling
• Ka-boomstick Blast
• Pest Control
• Freezer Pop

After you defeat Scolo the Seekerpede, you’ll get the second Carbonox Advanced Chest piece.

Where To Find the Carbonox Advanced Helmet

Following the same logic as the Chest Armor, the Carbonox Advanced Helmet is found by completing another Battleplex Challenge named Twice as Nice. The difference is that Twice as Nice is a Gold Battleplex Challenge and can be accessed only after you beat the story and complete the ninth planet named Viceron.

So, basically, these challenges are post-game. Return to Zurkie’s bar once you beat the game and access the Battleplex Challenges screen. Twice as Nice is the fifth Gold Challenge, which means that it will appear after you finish the first four:

• Manglers Are Forever
• LOL, That’s Random
• A Good Time To Zoom
• Vroom Around

For this specific challenge and for the Carbonox Advanced Helmet, your goal, as you can see, is to defeat the returning foes.

After you get the Helmet, your Carbonox Advanced Armor Set is complete, so go ahead and equip it to start farming bolts.
