Sniper Elite 5 Spy Academy: How To Kill Fabian Richter Using A Stealth Takedown In Mission 3

Sniper Elite 5 Fabian Richter is a Nazi Foreign Intelligence officer renowned for his fieldwork and deadly efficiency against the Resistance in France. Fabian Richter is your Kill List Target, an optional task during the Spy Academy Mission in the video game developed by Rebellion.

Also, there is a Kill Challenge to take out the target using a stealth takedown to unlock a bonus weapon, “P08,” which we will focus on.

Where To Find Fabian Richter in Sniper Elite 5

Coincidentally, you will encounter Fabian Richter during Mission 3 no matter what because he is located in the Meeting Room, where you must find the evidence and collect the intel on Kraken during the primary objective.

To reach the Meeting Room, you will have to do a bit of running and killing. Once you pass the bridge, Beaumont Marshland’s starting location, and the fortress, follow the winding road on the west side and climb up the hill.

Near the end of the road, you will see a big set of stairs on the right on the east side of the cathedral.

Climb up the stairs, follow the path to the left, and continue until you are at the west entrance of the cathedral. Get inside the cathedral, and look either to the left or right side for a doorway leading to a circular stairway to the upper level.

Keep climbing until you reach the final floor at the top of the cathedral; that’s where the meeting occurs.

How To Kill Fabian Richter Using a Stealth Takedown

The Meeting Room key can be found on an officer in front of the meeting room guarding the place.

Try to get close to him and “Pacify” him to avoid disturbing the meeting with the noise. Here, I recommend you do a quick save if something goes wrong. This way, you can quickly load back from this point and try to do the stealth takedown again.

Once you have got the key, unlock the south door to the meeting room and get inside without being detected. Sneak your way to the left side of the room, close to the stairway, next to the blue bench, and wait for the detection meter to go away.

Here is how you will do it: you will run straight for Fabian Richter (the one with the red icon above the head) and immediately press the Melee Kill button (for PC, the default is “E”).

The game will count this attempt as a stealth takedown because you have a small window until you get fully detected by the officers. If you do it correctly, you will be rewarded with the Kill List Method +1000 XP in the bottom right corner of the screen.

If you don’t see the small notification, reload the save and give it another try. Take out the two remaining nazi officers and head to the extraction point to complete Mission 3.
