Cloth is one of the many useful materials in Palworld. However, to obtain the material, you need to craft it, not find it through exploration. Since Cloth can be used to make all sorts of essential items, like a thicker outfit for those cold nights, you should try to obtain as much of the material as you can.
How to Craft Cloth in Palworld
Step 1: Gather Wool
First, you should know that for one unit of Cloth, you need two units of Wool. As explained in our Wool guide, you can obtain the material by catching or defeating Sheep Pals like Lamballs and Melpacas. A Ranch can also be a good source of Wool.
Step 2: Unlock Cloth
To continue, you must reach level 3 and unlock Cloth from the Technology tab in your Menu. Of course, it will cost you technology points to perform this action. Technology points are obtained by leveling up.
Step 3: Craft Cloth
After getting enough Wool and unlocking the Cloth, you can start crafting the material. You just need to go to a Primitive Workbench, select Cloth, press A on your Xbox controller, select how many units you want to make, and then press A to start production.
Now, you need to press and hold X near the Workbench to make the Palworld Cloth. To speed up the process, you need to have Pals with the Handiwork ability working at your base. When the job is done, press X to acquire the Cloth.
Finally, you can craft Outfits, Gliders, Egg Incubators, and other cool items for which you need Cloth.
