If you are looking for a ranged weapon that can be obtainable early in the Palworld, you should consider the Poison Bow. Similar to the Fire Bow weapon, the Poison Bow does damage over time and can be very useful. The problem is that crafting the weapon can be tricky because you need a material known as the Venom Gland, obtained from Depresso, Daedream, Killamari, and other Pals.

How to Craft the Poison Bow in Palworld

Step 1: Unlock the Poison Bow

First, you must focus on reaching level 8, then go to your Technology tab and spend some Technology Points to unlock the Poison Bow. You get the Points by leveling up, which can be easily done by performing various tasks in Palworld.

Step 2: Gather the Materials

You might have unlocked the Poison Bow, but to craft it, you still need the following materials:

  • 40 Wood
  • 8 Stone
  • 20 Fiber
  • 2 Venom Gland

To quickly obtain Fiber and Wood, you must cut down trees with an Axe. For Stone, you need to mine rock deposits with a Pickaxe. However, the Venom Gland can be hard to gather if you don’t know where to look. Specifically, in Early Access, you’ll want to catch or kill the following Pals: Depresso, Daedream, Killamari, Cawgnito, Helzephyr, and Menasting.

If you visit our Venom Gland locations guide, you can learn where to look for them. Daedream, for example, spawns in the starting area but only at night. When you catch your first Daedream, you’ll also unlock a key item known as Daedream’s Necklace. It’s also worth knowing that you can’t produce Venom Glands at your Palworld Ranch.

Step 3: Craft the Poison Bow

After you get the required materials, you can finally craft the Poison Bow, so head to a Primitive Workbench, interact with it, select the Poison Bow, and press A. To start production, press A again, then hold X to finish crafting.

Still, you need Poison Arrows to shoot the weapon, and if you don’t know how to craft them, you can refer to our guide.
