Palworld is an incredible action-adventure survival game that offers a wide range of unique features. One of the standout features that has captured my attention is Skill Fruits. These special consumables allow you to teach your Pals new active skills. So, I’ve put together this guide explaining where to find and how to use them.
Where To Find Skill Fruits in Palworld
Skill Fruits aren’t your ordinary fruits; they’re special ones that grow on unique trees scattered throughout the open world. Each tree has three fruits, and each fruit grants a different skill. From the Aqua Gun to the Spirit Fire and the Stone Blast, each skill has its own cooldown time and power level. Just hover over each fruit to see all the details.
Figuring out where to find these unique trees can be a bit tricky, but don’t worry, I’ve got you covered. There’s this amazing online tool called Map Genie that will make your life so much easier. Click on the link and type “Skill Fruit” in the search bar.
You’ll see a map with 19 Skill Fruits (at the time of writing) scattered all over the Palpagos Islands. Zoom in, match the locations to your in-game map, and voila! You’ll spot those special trees in no time.
Palworld Merchants are another reliable source of Skill Fruits. They occasionally offer them for sale, and the price varies based on the skill’s rarity.
How To Use Skill Fruits in Palworld
So, once you’ve got your hands on a Skill Fruit, using it is a piece of cake. First, open up your inventory and locate the fruit you want. Then, simply right-click on the fruit and select one of your Pals from the party to teach them the new skill.
The cool thing is, there are no type limitations – you can teach a Ground-type ability to a Water-type Pal if you feel like it. The new skill will be learned automatically if your Pal has an empty skill slot. If not, you’ll need to swap out one of the existing skills.
To swap skills for your Pal, simply head over to the Party tab. From there, select the Pal you want to make the change for, and then choose the Active Skill you wish to replace from the menu bar on the left side of the screen.
And that’s all you need to know about the Skill Fruits in Palworld. If you’re curious about how to use the Lifmunk Effigies or the Pals Souls at the Statue of Power, be sure to check out our handy guides.
