Ore is a common material in Palworld, but you’ll need lots of it. With Ore, you can craft Ingots, from which, in turn, you get Nails. All of these materials play an important role in expanding your base.
Ore can be obtained by mining Ore Deposits, which look like brownish Stone Deposits. The following guide provides instructions on how to farm Ore most efficiently.
Where To Find Ore in Palworld
Ore deposits can be found all over the game’s world, but certain locations have multiple deposits close to each other. One of these locations is west of the Fort Ruins Fast Travel, as shown on the map below.
How To Farm Ore
You can start mining these Ore deposits with the help of your trusty Pickaxe, or even better, have your Pals do it for you. To make your own automated Ore mining camp, you need the following:
- A spot with multiple Ore deposits, like the one on the map above. Keep in mind that the deposits respawn after a while.
- Pals that have Mining level 2 at least.
- A working base near the Ore deposits. The base must have a Berry Plantation to make food for the Pals, a Feed Box, Beds for the Pals, a Hot Spring for the Pals to relax, Chests to store the materials, and a Primitive Furnace to turn the Ore into Ingots.
Best Pals for Farming Ore
The best Pal for mining is Digtoise, and it can be found in the desert area in the center of the map, as you can see in the next screenshot.
You can also use other Pals like Dumud or Penking, but Digtoise is the way to go because Mining is the only trait he has, meaning he doesn’t get interrupted by other activities in the base.
The problem is that reaching the desert area can be hard, and in the early game, you have to work with any Pal that has the mining ability, but don’t forget it must be at least level 2.
Also, refer to our guide if you have problems Catching Pals in Palworld. Finally, don’t forget to use the Primitive Furnace to craft Ingots from the Ore.
