The Ingot is an essential material in Palworld, and you’ll start needing it after reaching level 10. The most important items you can make with Ingots are Nails. From level 10 onwards, you will need Ingots or Nails to craft most items and structures. Some items, such as the Crossbow, require both Nails and Ingots. Fortunately, you can create Ingots by using a Primitive Furnace.
How To Craft Ingots in Palworld
Step 1: Unlock and Build a Primitive Furnace
To build a Primitive Furnace, you must first reach level 10 and unlock the blueprint in the Technology tab. Then, you must gather the resources following resources:
- 20 Wood – to obtain these materials, check our Logging Site tree growing guide.
- 50 Stone – the best method to get these resources is to mine them from a Palworld Stone Pit.
- 3 Fire Organs – which can be obtained from Pals with the Fire element.

Step 2: Gather Ore
Two units of Ore can be smelted into one Ingot at a Primitive Furnace. Ore is obtainable by mining Ore Deposits with a pickaxe. Unlike Stone Deposits, Ore Deposits have a white shade, as you can see below. They can be found by exploring the world.
Step 3: Craft Ingots
When you have enough Ore, interact with the Furnace and select Ingot. Choose the quantity and start production.
Finally, you need a Pal with the Kindling ability working at your base, and he will come to the Smelter to help out. The first pal you’ll encounter with this trait will likely be Foxparks.
Remember that the larger the quantity of Ingots you’ve selected at the Furnace, the longer it will take to craft. Thus, keep yourself busy until it’s done, and don’t forget to pick it up later.
