The Venom Gland is a Palworld crafting material you’ll find by hunting down or catching specific Pals, and it can’t be produced at your Ranch. The Venom Gland in Palworld is found by capturing or killing Cawgnito, Daedream, Depresso, Helzephyr, and Menasting. In this guide, I’ll tell you where to find some Venom Glands you can use for crafting.

How To Get Venom Glands in Palworld

Since this material can’t be produced at your newly established Ranch, you must look for Pals who drop it when you catch them. Early in the game, your best option to get Venom Glands is by looking for Daedream; however, unlike other Pals, this one is a bit elusive.

That’s because the Daedreams spawn only during the night. Similar to other Pals who drop Venom Glands, they prefer darkness. So, to get your hands on the first poisoned gland, you’ll want to explore the world at night or find some caves.

If you choose the first option, look for Daedream Pals in the starting area. As you can see below, these Pals are purple and glow in the dark.

The image shows a Daedream Pal who drops the Palworld Venom Glands once you defeat it.

As with other materials, you can kill or capture the Daedream to get the Venom Glands it drops. While the first option is more accessible, you should remember that the Daedream is excellent at transporting and gathering.

So, if you have a Ranch or a Berry Plantation, consider catching at least one Daedream. For this, you need only the regular Pal Sphere, but it is worth knowing some Pals capturing tricks. Regardless of whether you catch or kill the Daedream, you’ll obtain a Venom Gland.

Venom Glands are also obtained from other Pals. The complete list available so far includes:

  • Depresso
  • Daedream
  • Killamari
  • Cawgnito
  • Helzephyr
  • Menasting

While Daedream is found free roaming at night, other Pals will require your presence inside caves, dungeons, or other regions you’ll reach by exploring the world. Alternatively, you can obtain Venom Glands from Palworld Merchants for 100 Gold.

How To Use the Palworld Venom Glands

This material is first required if you want to upgrade your Old Bow to the Poison Bow or replace your regular Arrows with Poison Arrows. Additionally, it can be used as a trading material you can sell at vendors for 100 Gold Coins.

You can use Venom Glands to craft Poison Arrows and the Poison Bow.

The Poison Bow and the Poison Arrows become available when your Base reaches level 8. To unlock them, you’ll need 3 Technology Points, which you can get by leveling up.
