In Palworld, the Pal Items have different forms that activate Partner Skills. These items have multiple uses, such as Saddles, allowing you to ride Pals, and Gloves, which function as gliders. However, the most entertaining of these items is the Foxparks’s Harness, which enables you to use Foxparks as weapons.

Available early in the game, the Foxparks’s Harness is a Pal Item that you should consider crafting if you have a lot of Foxparks in your Party because you can turn them into Flamethrowers. How? I’ll explain this below.

How To Use Foxparks as Flamethrowers in Palworld

Step 1: Unlock the Foxparks Harness

To get your hands on this live Flamethrower in Palworld, you first need to unlock its Harness. This Pal Item becomes available at level 6, as you can see below, and it costs 1 Technology Point. If you can’t see it in your list of items, it’s because you also need to catch at least one Foxparks Pal.

Luckily, these cute foxes are fairly easy to find all over the area between Grassy Behemoth Hills and Plateau of the Beginnings. They are common and easy to catch if you follow our Pals capturing tips.

However, after you catch one, you’ll need to keep hunting more Foxparks because you need five Flame Organs, which brings us to the next step of the guide.

Step 2: Gather the Materials

In addition to the Pal Gear Workbench, to craft the Foxparks’s Harness in Palworld, you also need the following crafting materials:

  • 3 Leather
  • 5 Flame Organ
  • 5 Paldium Fragment
The image shows the Crafting Materials required to craft the Foxparks's Harness.

The Harness for Foxparks requires only a few materials that are relatively easy to obtain:

  • You can get Leather by hunting Eikthyrdeer or the beautiful stags in the same region where you start the game. Chillet, Fenglope, Foxparks, Fuack, Fuddler, Grizzbolt, Incineram, Galeclaw, Katress, Mammorest, and Melpaca also drop Leather. Additionally, you can get it from Wandering Merchants.
  • Paldium Fragments are quite common, and you’ll encounter them early in the game. They are obtained by mining Paldium Deposits, or they can be produced at a Crusher from Stone.
  • Finally, Flame Organs are dropped by specific Pals, including Foxparks, which means that you should continue catching them until you have 5 Organs. Alternatively, you can catch Rooby, Arsox, Pyrin, Flambelle, Ragnahak, Wixen, Blazehowl, Reptyro, Blazamut, or Suzaku Pals.

Step 3: Craft the Foxparks Harness

Once you get all the materials required for this Pal Item, head back to your Pal Gear Workbench to craft it. Make sure you unlock it first, then access the Workbench and select it from the list of items by pressing X.

To craft a Foxparks Harness you need a Pal Gear Workbench.

Select Start Production, then press and hold X (on Xbox) to craft the Harness. Finally, press X to pick it up and add it automatically to your Key Items Inventory.

How To Use The Foxparks Flamethrower

Now that you have the Harness, here comes the fun part. Using your live Palworld Flamethrower. To fire it, make sure that you have a Foxparks in your Party. Then select it with the Left/Right arrows and press LB on Xbox to summon it.

Get close to the Pal, and hold down the X button to pick it up and activate the Huggy Fire Skill. Last but not least, press RT (attack) to set the world on fire.

Despite its long cooldown, this Flamethrower is helpful in dealing fire damage over time, so it’s worth keeping one of these Pals in your Party. Not to mention that it’s pretty fun to burn things in Palworld.
