How To Build a Repair Bench

To begin repairing your items, you first need to build a Repair Bench. This essential structure is a staple in your base, serving as your personal repair shop. But how do you build one?

As you progress in Palworld, you earn Technology Points that you can use to unlock different structures and items. The Repair Bench becomes available once you reach Technology Level 2.

To unlock the Repair Bench, you need to spend one Technology Point. Once unlocked, you can proceed to gather the necessary resources for construction. To build the Repair Bench, you need 10 Wood and 10 Stone. These resources are relatively easy to gather around your base.

Access your Build menu, navigate to the Production tab, and select the Repair Bench. You can place the bench anywhere within your base. Once placed, you can build the bench yourself or with the help of your pals.

How To Repair Your Items

With your Repair Bench ready to go, you can start repairing your items. Here’s how you do it:

1. Stand near the Repair Bench and interact with it. The prompted menu will display all your items in the inventory and their current condition.
2. Select the item you wish to repair. Items that are fully damaged (0 durability) will have a red repair sign over their icon.
3. Click the Repair button to restore the item.

Note that repairing is not free — it costs half the resources required to craft the item. However, compared to crafting a new item, repairing is a more cost-effective solution.

Repairing Structures in Palworld

Besides weapons and equipment, you can also repair the structures in your base. This includes structures such as Ranch, Hot Spring, or Shoddy Bed. However, repairing structures involves a slightly different process than repairing items.

Crafting the Repair Kit

To repair structures, you need a Repair Kit. This item becomes available at Technology Level 3. To craft a Repair Kit, you need 5 Fiber and 5 Stones. Once you have the necessary resources, you can craft the Repair Kit on your workbench.

Using the Repair Kit

With Repair Kits in your inventory, you can start repairing your structures. Stand in front of a damaged structure you want to repair and press the corresponding button. This will consume a Repair Kit and restore the structure’s durability.
