Method #1: Discovering Pal Souls in the Open World
When you’re exploring the vast landscapes of Palworld, you might just stumble upon Pal Souls lying on the ground. They’re pretty easy to spot with their unique white crystal shape and blue soul inside. But they’re not exactly common, so don’t be too disappointed if you don’t find them too often.

- Nox – Small Pal Soul
- Cawgnito – Small Pal Soul
- Tombat – Small Pal Soul
- Maraith – Small Pal Soul

- Helzephyr – Medium Pal Soul

Keep in mind that the drop is not guaranteed, and the type of Pal Soul obtained depends on the Pal.
How To Use Pal Souls in Palworld
Once you’ve got those Pal Souls, the next step is to use them to enhance your Pals’ abilities. This process involves a few steps and resources. Here’s how you can do it.
Step 1: Build a Statue of Power
Before using Pal Souls, you must build a Statue of Power in your base. This requires reaching Level 8 and unlocking the blueprint with regular Technology Points. The materials needed for the statue include 20 Stones and 10 Paldium Fragments.
Step 2: Enhance your Pal’s Stats
Once the Statue of Power is all set, you’ll be able to start using your Pal Souls. Just interact with the Statue of Power, select the “Enhance Pals” option, and pick a Pal and the stat you want to boost. You’ve got options like Maximum Health, Attack, Defense, or Work Speed.
Additionally, at the Statue of Power, you have the opportunity to enhance your character’s Capture Power by spending Lifmunk Effigies. These green glowing statues can be found throughout the open world.
Palworld also offers the option to reset your Pals’ upgrades. It’s worth noting that the cost of resetting goes up as the stat level increases. On a positive note, resetting also refunds your Pal Souls, giving you the flexibility to use them however you want.
