Palworld Fiber Locations Guide

In Palworld, you’ll soon notice that Fiber is an important building material that can be used in crafting several recipes at the Workbench. Considering you’ll need the material from the start of your adventure, you might get confused about where to find it.

Where To Find Fibers in Palworld

Luckily, obtaining the Fiber can be easily done by cutting trees and defeating Hangyu and Hoocrates Pals. Alternatively, you can also get Fibers from a Crusher Station once you build it. Since the Hangyu and Hoocrates Pals require a bit of progression, in this guide I’ll tell how to get Fiber by cutting down trees, provided you want to build items like a Shoddy Bed and Straw Pal Bed.

The Crusher Station also requires Wood to produce Fiber in Palworld, which means that you can use the same tutorial in case you need help increasing your stock.

How to get Fiber in Palworld

Step 1: Build a Primitive Workbench

To get started, you need to build a Primitive Workbench. To do so, you’ll need Wood, which you can find on the ground. For the moment, the easiest way to get Wood is by picking up the branches on the ground.

Now that you have at least two units of Wood let’s start building the Primitive Workbench by following these steps:

• First, press Up on the Dpad of your controller and select the Production Tab.
• Using the Right Xbox Thumbstick, select the Primitive Workbench.
• Look for a spot to build the Workbench, but make sure the item turns blue, confirming it can be built there.
• Press X to place the Workbench, approach it, and hold X for 10 seconds to build it.

Step 2: Craft a Stone Axe

To continue, you must interact with the Workbench and craft a Stone Axe. The item will be used to cut down trees. Note that there is a less effective way of cutting trees: punch them or use other tools, like the Stone Pickaxe.

As you can see, the Stone Axe requires five units of Stone and five units of Wood to be crafted, so look for more branches. As for the Stones, you can also find them on the ground; just look for small rocks.

Step 3: Cut Trees

Finally, it’s time to get that Palworld Fiber. As such, equip the Stone Axe by pressing Y on your Xbox controller. Approach a tree, and hold RT to start cutting.

As you can see on the left side of your screen, you’ll get a bunch of Wood and tree Fibers while wielding your axe. Once you cut a tree down, you can move to another and repeat the process.

It’s important to know that trees respawn after some time. Now that you have your Fiber, it’s time to put it to good use, so start building and expanding your base.
